Ingrid, I wonder if putting a turntable under the project would make it easier to swivel the piece to work on it.

Appreciate all the great instructions on using alcohol inks, I like the staining effects on yupo.

All the pieces have their own beauty. Makes me think of an upscale outdoor themed lava lamp. Keeps moving and you can’t get the same look over again. Thanks for sharing your time and talent.

🤣🤣 I’m listening to this and literally laughed out loud. I thought I was odd (hubby says I am) for wanting things because of a container. 😂 I don’t use my inks enough and I really should. Thanks so much for the laugh 😊

I buy stuff all the time for the container, a cool jar or a bottle, maybe a neat can or tin

I've only been playing for 4 months - they are CRAZY fun. I went down the rabbit hole FAST with them. 😘🎨😍

This was such a fun and inspiring video. I did a little bit of alcohol ink work when Ranger first came out with them many years ago and had so much fun. I haven’t used them since. I need to start again because the results are so beautiful. This piece you created on this video reminds me of an underwater scene with a treasure chest on the ocean floor with bubbles coming out of it. I always see weird things in these. The one you did in all browns and framed it is absolutely gorgeous. I would have framed it too.

Oh, I so see that too! I love that you enjoyed it Lisa! Definitely pull them out of the drawer and have fun. I've been exploring so much with these, and they are the perfect little medium to get that little session in and really feel like an artist when you need to! Break them out and get creating! 😘

Lovely backgrounds, thank you for sharing. Do you seal the backgrounds before framing, if so, what do you use?

Yes, great question. Kamar Varnish and UV resistance clear spray. Both by Krylon. Thanks for watching and commenting!! 😘😁🎨

This was just what I needed. I’m doing a series of collaged floral still life paintings and wanted to use alcohol ink for the vases. I’d forgotten how to make them special. It’s been a while!!!! Thanks.

Thanks Joan! Alcohol inks have taken my art to a different level. I've made more frameable pieces than ever before right from the start. They're super fun!

I use to go to the Liquor store and use to say I like to buy my wine by the bottle. Doesn't sound odd but what I meant was, I'll only buy the wine if it's in a cool bottle! LOL

That would be beautiful gelli plate on, the one with the alcohol in. I thought you were to pick it up and move it around.. You need a air brush gun. Sorry, I have to go to bed. Thank you and God Bless.
