I just rewatched Justine's 17 ways to use ink refills video, and now yours. All the tips in both are great. I use Ranger Distress Ink refills to color the edges of Tarot card decks. I apply the ink to a mini ink dauber and use that to apply ink to the edges, let dry, and wipe off any excess with a dry paper towel. It works great.

Very fun techniques. I tried the shaving cream idea a few years ago with our church's Bible camp kids - the results were good but what an EPIC MESS! I will never do it with kids again but I have fun doing it myself.

In my experience, clear gesso dries white unless diluted with water. I used it on clear glass Christmas ornaments and found out the hard way. Good news is soaking in water makes the dried gesso slide right off the glass.

Holy cow! I have greatly enjoyed the shaving cream technique, but NEVER thought about stenciling with it! Good point about using reinker instead of your pad. I NEVER thought about adding it to my gel medium! I have lots of distress, archival,and oxide reinkers. I will be pulling them out today

AWESOME! YES...stop the hoarding maddness....lol. Honestly - the stencil part of the shaving cream technique is even better than the swirl. And, freeze the shot with the 5 projects. Hey there! No, photo paper isn't high enough quality. I use Kromekoat 10 or 12 pt. I get mine at Marco's Paper Supply in Ohio (online). Thanks for watching. :)

Love the techniques thru a stencil. I have a Ton of stencils and don’t use them enough! Play day coming! I did the shaving cream technique years, well decades to be honest, ago. I didn’t like it much because the colors were so muted. Well, now with distress inks?! Wowza! I wonder if my son will notice if I borrow his shaving cream?
