@@PrimOrdial-r6z I have both read articles and seen an interview in which the subject came up. Eli said his mother and father wanted him to go to university. He wasn't angry with them as he understood that any parent wants the best for their kids. So he took them to hear his band play, after which they agreed they were talented and let him go his own way. Never brought up university again. This was corroborated in an interview with Bono, who's expressed that it was surreal seeing his son play the same places he did when he was young when asked how he felt about it. So either you saw that and decided for yourself that they are still unhappy, or the particular article you read was written by someone equally and mistakenly opinionated.
