OK, this song could be in Boy. For us the early U2 fans, Inhaler is the second coming of Jesus. There is a cadence to this song that is reminiscent of the Electric Co. I don't think it's intentional but with their "inheritance" and their references -- the Spotify playlists these guys made had so much New Wave in them -- I would be surprised if they did not sound like early U2 brought to the future. But they have such maturity in their sound, for this being their debut, it's breathtaking. They will be playing stadiums in 2 years' time.

As a diehard u2 fan, I have to say that Inhaler are more polished than early u2 (Boy to War) but u2's ability to write beautiful melodies is something these guys don't possess. They are still an impressive band but u2 were just on another level.

The difference is the don’t have the edge and Larry. I loved early U2 and Eli’s voice captivates me as Bono lost his early touch. But Inhaler has good songs only they sound Like they are dragging down the mood in most songs. U2 never had that problem. I still like them but most songs sounds better only with earbuds as some music techniques are lost with speakers.
