Apart from the lack of trees on the north side, which are very obvious when there, it looks to be pretty good. I'd have to see more footage away from the main terminal to decide.

There's a little more work still to be done right? Like missing trees lines, missing dirt and grime at the ramps etc?

The ramps need to be added detail like railings and the road isn't asphalt on the main artery

Great looking scenery and well made video. I hope to recreate an evening flight I took in 2001 from Stockholm Skavsta to Stansted in a Ryanair 737-800, where I got to sit in the jump seat for landing. We descended through a lightning storm and broke through the cloud to see the runway lit up. It was an experience I'll never forget! Just a few months before 9/11, so no chance to do it again. I count myself very lucky.

I personally would love to see Inibuilds do Dusseldorf. I fly for VEWG and it is a major hub for the airline, would compliment EDDH and EDDB quite nicely. Great scenery though.😊

I have aprox. 20 payware airports in MSFS. INIBUILDS KDTW is the only one i simply can't use due to immense stuttering. This project is a great idea, and you make amazingly beautiful airports. But if we can't use them, i'll just watch the trailers.

But with all these insane amount of details and ultra high fidelity visuals... ultrarealistic airport busses and shuttle trains, and photoreal terminals and shops inside the airport (details one will never see from inside the cockpit) and even realistic computers inside the tower - you show the very obvious visual bug with these two Ryanair Boeing 737 parked halfway through the closed Ryanair hangar doors for a few seconds in this video? ;D But if you already know this bug you could also remove these two 737 tail sections protruding through the closed hangar doors to make the otherwise perfect looking airport glitch-free, hm? ;) It is truly lovely how far the visual quality for airports has come in flight simulators. Now even the interior is photorealistic for ultra-immersion when looking through various area windows while rolling to the runway.

That flat ground again, with no vegetation or some height, looks like FSX. This is one of the unrealistic itens I still find in a lot of sceneries. Except this issue, it is very good.

In the real world there are some older hangars too small to fully accommodate large modern airliners, so their doors have been modified with cut-outs so that the front of the aircraft can fit in the hangar while the tail section remains outside but the doors can still be closed around it to keep the weather out of the hangar.

I’m as surprised as dumbfounded that inibuilds would make this airport. There is no doubt of the high quality work that they have put into the product. I’m sure they made their homework and saw we have a great freeware Stansted that as of now has 57.4K downloads… I wonder what made them do this airport of so many other airports that would have been a great addition to this world of ours… I’m curious to see if someone will make a video showing the difference between the freeware and the Inibuilds one, like they have done with Gatwick (freeware vs payware).

Although the freeware is good, a lot of the gates/jetways don’t work and is a nightmare to work with GSX and it doesn’t have any interiors and dosen’t feel very “alive” and is the third most busiest airport on VATSIM in the UK.
