Thanks for the guide dude! I have Alastair (should be getting Innit later this week once the new codex boss is out), but I used this layout/team and went from 52k - 83k on my latest run for the first time. I messed up the timing in the last poison phase with Elowyn, but now 120k seems incredibly approachable.

I've been stuck on the Odyssey Quest 'Obtain your first Ancient Gear' forever because they made the GR's that drop them freakin' impossible. Like in order to get the numbers you need to beat those stages you NEED Ancient gear, its like a paradox.

the whole init quest line is basically an account check. with each challenge you need to have reached a certain progression level in your account. so if you are stuck at a certain point it just means you need to progress your account. keep the faith, you will get there and the account you will have by the time you get init will be much meaner and stronger. so basically win win instead of a paradox methinks

Just gotta max out about 75 more pieces of gear and I’ll move Init into the squad. Still no Carnelian so I need a stunner and my DPS will suffer as a result, but I think I can get from 50k to hopefully 80k. Good showcase.

What great timing, I just got my init and was planing a new Team vor APOC2, with Praetus, Init, Constance, Elowyn, Carnalian, Fersi, Toridor, Arrogance, Twyla, Kigiri and kinda your setup I finally and for the first time beat 120k 🙂

A little something i just figured out recently, torodor cant stun from the back row, even tho he can attack the boss, it seems like its out of range for the ability, so it doesnt proc. Its not that big of a deal for awakened wukong comps, but still might be worth running thru the devs

Hey, fasti! I believe that you can prevent Kigiri from doing his talent during Elowyn cleanses if you switch up the time you use his ult. This could be facilitated by increasing his rage regen. However. I found that the poison phase has 3 bursts of damage in quick succession(the first burst applying the poison). Which leaves a window where you can cleanse the poison and still use kigiri's ult to counter a burst of poison. I find this the easiest method. I hope this information helps you to prevent his talent from taking effect during the cleansing stage!!!

i find that window you describe pretty risky though. sometimes hits out if you ult and the cleanse misses

@fastidious_gg Very valid, especially if Kigiri is only cleansing in the team. I feel I have managed to get the timing right. I never miss, and I get about 220K. Might be something that is good to practice, especially if your Kigiri is A3/5.

I have an A1 Init that's not fully skill-maxed and I've been using an A1 Alistair that is fully skill-maxed, but I've been also using a 4 invig group with Torodor in Morale and since I don't have Carnelian I've been using an A3 Aylin instead but otherwise I've been using the exact same comp you are showing. My score on APOC2 is just under 139k. Would it be worth skill-maxing Init to try this or should I save that for a hero that might help me finish Epilogue 6? Current comp is Torodor (morale), A1 Sun Wukong, A1 Twyla, A3 Kigiri, Elowyn (invig), Praetus (just made him A1 this morning), A1 Alistair, A1 Constance (invig), A1 Ferssi (invig), and A3 Aylin (invig). I've been putting invig on Kigiri, Praetus, Sun Wukong, and Alistair.

buddy. you won't get him for at least 5 month. you have so much more to go. you will need a SSS in a codex, +16 100 pieces of gear, so on and so on. be patient. Also farm 2-19 500 times and then tell me you couldn't get an ancient to drop ;) farming takes MANY more attempts than you realize

And it only took 22k diamonds before hitting a second Wukong, so yey ;p

How would you buff Aylin? She is good and my favorite hero but she needs a buff? Also you should do either one long video or several videos on heroes of all rarities on how you would buff them. Also if you felt any heroes needed to be nerfed. (I hope not lol i hate nerfs)

@Fastidious what u can do is take out one of the fighters to use Elowyn wood elf. I do this all the time. It got me from 130k to 216k. Have one ground unit that you can take out for the wood elf and u can stay alive. Truest me test and share with people. I can even send I clip of my run.

Sadly Torodor cannot stun at all from row 4. He can only stun from row 1, 2 and 3. So expect max 0 stuns from Torodor in this run. (And yes, that's most likely a bug).

I'm FTP and got init many many months ago now. Took probably like 2-3 weeks from his release until I had him. So it's more about saving up and doing stuff at right time. I knew from patch notes and leaks to save up epic heroes etc.

you can't get any extra damage during the health phases. SO if you can get them done without ults or with minimal ults, then it's a good idea at the beginning to do so and save all your big damage for the vulnerable state in between

No. His talent triggers and pushes him out elowyn’s ult range. That talent cannot be manually controlled

@@fastidious_gg yeah but as I run, I always use his ultimate when boss applies 1st poison right at the start of the phase and on 2nd poison his talent never activates and interferes with Elowyn. try it out. once you do it like that never goes wrong even after if you have to go like 2 cycles on poison phase

@@jacopoconte3311 money on champs is one thing as i do like to collect and have options, though i had started to hold back a lot more on that, but gear was the main thing holding me back. In this event fasti had some issues with my gear. GR2 was the first one I did get to stage 21 and farm but those invigeration sets kept alluding me. Never having the proper main stat or secondaries. Though hopefully the new changes help address this. Sure if I tried hard I could have beat them sooner, but I didn't have the time, nor did I want the stress of min-maxing as i could do it eventually and was at a decent spot already. And this is still a secondary game for me, i play a different game that is always my main priority, and I take more serious, that one i know my characters a lot more and don't rely on guide and stuff as much.

It's insane to me that a whale account with 6mil bp hasn't even broken the 50k threshold on GB1 and struggles with GB2. I'll never understand why people pay for a game they don't really invest effort in. To each their own I guess
