After being influenced by Initial D, I came up with idea of making this video, it seemed so far fetched and near impossible. However thanks to everyone who made this possible, With no big budget or fancy camera's we managed to do it. Its taken me a while, as I was finishing college and starting university at the time. I hope everyone enjoy's this, I plan on making more episodes with more cars very soon.

it's stupid that most of the people thinking that touge is all about drifting which is wrong there always few parts where you can drift but it would make you slower and your tires will die faster and your car too

actually, in some condition, cars tends to lose speed (corners obviously, but i didn't see notice though) so it's normal to switch to lower gear then back to high gear to regain speed, and that explains their "infinite" gear shift.

Hyaku Shiki In every fast and the furious film you see cars neck and neck, and somehow changing gear gives them a huge burst of acceleration, unless they were just sat on the redline that would never happen, acceleration is slower in higher gears.

Why don't you all stop bitching about the details and just enjoy the video. He did this when he was in *college* guys... it's not easy to do any personal projects, or much of anything when you're going to school. I'm in college right now, and I constantly feel burnt out. To me, this guy is a legend just for making this series whilst going to school! You should all be more understanding of the circumstances these guys were working with here.

I have to say I was actually impressed, I've been a fan of the initial D series for a while and I started to pick at the video but then I just sat back and remembered these are just a couple car guys having some fun and making a tribute to the very show that got me into drifting and building cars. I can't wait to see what you guys can do with this series and most importantly, have fun.

To most of the critics on this video. This was very darn good video for the budget and time involved. The cars weren't in bad shape, voice acting was good. For those complaining that heel toe in a FWD car, probably has never tried it as it helps with the right setup. Those who haven't followed Initial D, do you understand how hard it is to pass on narrow sections of road? the best opportunities for passing is on the turns with a under powered car. GREAT VIDEO AND WILL BE WAITING ON MORE.

Amazing video! Loved everything about it! I love Initial D! I loved my EK hatch! I love the B18C and the H22A engines! But when he said "four wheel drive," I was like, wtf!? So i did some research and found out that we in the Americas got totally gyped on the Accord compared to Europe! Not only was their Accord equipped with an option for the H22A inline 4 cylinder, (which made 220hp), but it came with 4wd, and a manual! WHAT!?!? Our Accords best engine was a 3 litre V6 pumping out 20 LESS horsepower, and only going through the front wheels! AND the European Accord weighed almost 300lbs less too! Wtf!? Can you imagine how many enthusiasts would have bought an Accord here over an STI or an Evo back then!? 220hp coming from a naturally aspirated 2.2l 4 cylinder 20 years ago was an AMAZING feat, one which no other major car manufacturer even today can replicate! So WTF, Honda!? Stop making the new civics and accords shitty, revisit your roots, and ship the good shit to America!!!

I had the same idea to make a US stage and i looked up initial D to get the same style in my film and i got to say your filmed nailed in right on the head. it felt exactly like initial D, it was amazing. loved the cars too. itd be great if you checked out my own film which will be coming out in a few weeks.
