Me and my partner did this exact trip a few years ago when we came over for auto salon, we drove up and down some of the coolest most familiar roads ever, went to DZs, we went into that exact shop and met the same lady and on the way down visited several local museums including some really creepy ones, The toy museum and car museum were particularly good.

wow! ive been saving watch this mini series and up there with my fav of yours albo, and literally have watched almost every one, its probably the combination of the old school ae86 coupled with mystical mountain roads, ancient temples and culture well explained and of course last but not least, definitely the star of the show, sayaka is a gem, wish i find a girl like that in my life some time in the future, her msg resonated well, it was really cute how you guys shared your fortunes and collect protection charms with such belief and look forward to the future joints together, in nepal we have a lot in common with japanese buddhist shrine cultures everythings similar from washing before entering to throwing money to the sacred namaste gesture and bowing, except its very lax to the point where everyone throws trash around such holy power spots or energy centers, its sad, forget about our roads and their drive ability, barely get a day where there isnt the chance a motorbike scrapes your car here in the city, but there are some beautiful touges out:)

Was the closing scene at 25:09 done on a green screen? I really like this series, what a great way to give a glimpse into Japanese culture and for sure Sayaka was an awesome co-host. Thanks to all involved for producing such quality content.
@GaleonGuitar2 жыл бұрын
Haha I see what you mean, there is something "weird" when you compare their bodies to the background, like artificial lighting very similar to what you see in greenscreen footage. As they got close to the camera it really seems like they are in the real place though, so i'm not sure what happened, maybe just camera settings? People in the shrine asked them to stop recording at some point, so there is a chance they had to make this ending on green screen using footage they previously recorded. 😄
