Mike Morton is there a place for a water bladder!?? I hope so!! if not do you think there is a way to use a bladder with this bag?
@mikemorton08 жыл бұрын
Tim Morgan I answered your other post. There is not a specific spot for a bladder but one would fit perfectly between the g1000 outer shell and the inner liner. Just run the tube out of the top of the pack

Sir, thank you for the video. I believe I saw you on a Joe Robinet video. I am considering this pack and was wondering if you thought a Heavy Cover canteen and cup would fit in those side pockets? I will be making my way through your videos.
@mikemorton06 жыл бұрын
Tobias Ball you Did! I have been in a bunch of them. I do believe it would fit, though cannot be certain as I don't have the heavy cover canteen set.

Mike Morton thank you very much for replying. I appreciate it. I will likely go ahead with the purchase and keep my eye out for more of your videos.

How is the komfort with 10-12kg load?
@mikemorton06 жыл бұрын
I would say that is getting be the max. It's major downfall is it's strength which is the frame and seat. It means that is had a fairly flat back and a decent amount of weight is far out from your back. You should be fine but after a long hard day it wouldn't be as comfortable as others.

Mike--been searching for a good bushcraft type bag....this is a very interesting bag and for the most part you can't go wrong with Fjallraven products. I need your honest opinion--would you buy this again? I am about ready to buy this bag but want your honest feedback right now or after you have been able to use and really critique this backpack. 1. Are you still using the bag? Is it comfortable to wear? Worried about the internal frame making it uncomfortable due to being too heavy? Love the sit option... 2. Does it come with a rain cover like other Fjallraven backpacks? 3. Does it have compression straps on the bottom to lash a sleeping bag, jackets or tarp, etc., too? 4. Also, I love backpacks that have a waist belt and noticed this didn't have one? Is there an option to put a waist belt on? If so, do you have any recommendations on where to purchase one that would work? Mike, sorry for all the questions, but this is a pricey investment--with the two side pouches it's $300 plus shipping, etc. I sincerely appreciate your help. All the best. - Shane

I am still wearing it and still love it. the internal frame does not make it too heavy, it is removable as well if you want to take it in and out. there is no waist belt but there are loops to fashion one if needed, but I honestly haven't felt the need yet. I would buy it again.

i would go chekc out Outland Supply Compsny, they are in Ontario howeever i belueve they ship to the US and with the USD being so high right now you will definitely save some money. they are also great people to work with. It does not have any lash points on the bottom. the side pockets are a must in my opinion!

+Mike Morton I sincerely appreciate you getting back to me. Thanks for the info on the company out of Ontario. I will check them out. They don't have the side pockets in stock but Fjallraven website has them. I just love the old school look of the pack and it seems very functional and of great build quality. . One thing you didn't mention is if it's comfortable to wear? Any fatigue or does it ride well? Any more info would be great. Rain cover? Again, thanks for getting back with me Mike and I look forward to your updated review on the pack. All the best my friend. - Shane
@mikemorton08 жыл бұрын
+Shane G It is comfortable and rides well, you don't have anything picking into your pack and the frame means that it doesn't load weird either. it doesn't have a rain cover but it has an integrated top cover in the top flap so if it's a little wet you don't have to sit on a wet bag. pulls out and snaps on to the buttons on there

Thanks for the feedback...I love the pack and think I will pull the plug. I need a great day pack and this fits the bill. Thanks again Mike and I will look forward to your final review of this. Any other info that may be pertinent regarding the Stubben please let me know. All the best -Shane

Are you still loving this pack? Not too heavy or boxy? Do you miss a hip belt? I'm trying to decide between this and the Friluft 35.
@mikemorton08 жыл бұрын
Adventureforlife I still love it, maybe a little boxy but it helps packing. I still use it almost every trip. I don't really miss the hip belt as it never really gets heavy. There are attachment points to attach a hip belt if you wish. I do love the organisation. Sometimes I do miss a some sided pack but it's really nice to have a dry seat wherever you go. If you go the route of the Stubben I really suggest the side bags. Check my instagram @mikemorton0 I have lots more pictures of it. Let me know if you have any other questions!

could you take this on a plane?
@mikemorton08 жыл бұрын
It would not fit as a carry on, and the knife, axe and saw would prevent it from carry on anyways. I see no reason why you couldn't check it though, lots of people do that when camping
@timmorgan17408 жыл бұрын
Mike Morton is there a way to utilize a water bladder with this bag?
@mikemorton08 жыл бұрын
Tim Morgan A water bladder would fit nicely between the outer g1000 pack and the blaze orange liner. The tube would have to run out the top of the pack
