Some to go to forever homes and some with the last act of kindness that they deserve. They don't deserve to be treated like this. Laws need to be enacted so that you cannot send malnourished, sick and injured horses and ponies for sale at auctions, prolonging the pain, discomfort, suffering and fear. I'm going to send a link to my senator, who is not in Tennessee, but I want to pass it on and see if they can start talking about it.

If that were to happen, the horse would be left for dead or had a bullet put. Between the eyes and it would miss the brain causing the horse more problems.

She's so very brave and strong. I admire the whole team. I can't walk into an animal shelter because I just dissolve into tears. These creatures rely on us to give them good lives. Humans domesticated animals to serve as our companions and helpers and they deserve so much better.

compile a video list and vet reports of these desperate animals then assemble the groups of people go to your law making office and stage a protest; alert the tv n radio news stations etc...make an apptmt with your local gov rep try to get him to introduce a bill to enact this...

Every state needs to change the livestock category for equine. Then they can charge negligence and not allow auction dumping. Horses work for us and give so much. We should give more and a voice. This must stop. Contact your Congress and senators. Bang on your governor's door.

I was at an auction in MN and there was a very emaciated horse there. I talked to the people who run the auction about taking action against the owners and MN law states they can't since they turned the horse over to the auction. It still pisses me off people are that heartless. I freak out when my horse comes in from pasture and he was playing bitey face with his friends and he gets cut. Thank you to everything what you all do for these horses. We need more people out there doing this. If I was in TN for vacation, I would be volunteering.

I had a horse that was given to me with proud flesh on her face from the eye to jaw to nose, over half of her face was covered, blood dropping on the ground totally open, the Dr. had me put her on iodine in the feed, and had to do an iodine wash let it set on her face for 20 min twice a day. She healed from her injurie and understand the smell it was awful. She ended up being one of my best horses, prayers for you guys and all of your animals that you rescue.

You guys are angels. I bought an abused skinny Appy named Son in Fairbanks Alaska in 76. He was starving and had fungus infections. Cost me about 2K to get him ready for winter, which can get to 70 below zero. After showing up twice with hay and grain he would whinny and prance around with excited because he was going to be fed. They know who really cares about them. Son did great and was nice and firm for winter that year. Out of the 4 horses I have owned he was MY HEART !!!

How can people live with this-knowingly have sold a horse that is in so much pain and they know it will take days or weeks before it will die in a horrific way! I wish there were people like you for all of the animals that head to slaughter. For the cows, pigs, chicken, sheep, goats, turkey's. All of them. OK, so Im going to be honest with you, I dont "like" horses (I think they are gorgeous and majestic) I have fallen off them multiple times, as such they scare the shit out of me, but I cry in each episode to see what people are doing to these beautiful living beings. Im sure if I ever had a horse I would never ride it but I would go walking with it and give it lots of cuddles and kisses. And I would want it to live a happy healthy life with me.
