Pro tip: if you're preparing the submarine for the upcoming expedition with your friends, do tell them that the railgun has been loaded with nuclear shells and to be careful with it... I didn't and half of them died when the gunner shot at a moloch that was right on top of us. Only guys that survived took them 30 minutes to recover the submarine that sunk into the abyss and return to the outpost while we were almost to tears laughing

Crowbar's increased damage from talents, they take as if the increased damage is their base damage. meaning if you add melee damage increase, like 100% from hammerhead gene, it will increase from 300% of original damage to 600%

Honestly, I'm quite fond of the fact that the Crowbar is a.. decent melee option, the RFA being a fairly solid weapon (and rather cheap to maintain, tbh), and the PUCS giving huge radiation, fire, husk resistance? While also having an auto-injector, AND not using oxygen when inside of oxygenated environments? Good stuff!

can you help me confirm something. a while ago (pre-1.0, like just before it dropped) i couldve sworn that lightning wizard's counter-stun effect also worked when monsters attacked the ship, and thereby damaged by through blunt force when the ship is jolted. i mean, i'd be standing there, the ship would get hit, i would briefly be ragdolled for like .1 seconds, i see a little electrical spark come off me, and i hear the ship guns stop firing cuz my friends think the monster died, and then after a few seconds they start shooting again cuz the stun wears off im guessing, i didnt exactly go out with a med scanner to check, yknow?

With Danger Zone it says it gives an additional 50% radiation resistance to the Hazmat Suit, which already has 60%. Does this mean the wearer with the talent will be immune to radiation with 110% rad resistance?

Not sure but I would guess it is multiplying the remainder. With the suit on you only get 40% of the radiation, 50% of 40% is 20%, so resistance goes from 60% to 80%. You are still doubling the length of time you can withstand the radiation. 100% would be infinite time, more than 100% wouldn't make sense.

Nah it works multiplicatively. So it will be like the radiation is reduced by 50%, then that value is reduced by 60%. Resistances in baro can never reach 100% as they just keep reducing the new value

The description could be worded better imo, such as saying *"Hazmat suits worn by Engineers with this talent now provide the wearer 90% resistance to radiation sickness."*

With the first skill tree, what exactly does egghead do? I know its 100% skill gain but what does it actually do for the player?

The skills are your Helm, Electrical Engineering, Weapons etc. Having higher skill gain lets you get these to great levels much sooner, you can make your character a "jack of all trades" and be able to do all the basic jobs, and it helps you recover after your character dies and you lose some of your skills.
