In the last 3 weeks, I went from Pixel3A (broken screen) to Iphone12pro(returned) to SamsunggalaxyS20(returned) to Pixel4A....so much happier with the 4A pictures....sharp/crisp/natural colors/great depth......and this is with stock camera app. have clip-on lens for macro and wide angle.

Yes I do, as a photographer, film maker, I was really curious how it would turn out so I brought it and tested photos and was quite impressed, and stabilisation is wow super on filming. I will be uploading a separate video on image and video quality’s In POV mode

Yeah the video on this phone is fine for home movies/general use. I use it everyday as my street shooter though. Have a video in the works on how it's my favourite point and shoot camera under $500.

It's crazy how good this phone is I have used it since it came out. I did get the Samsung s21 and quickly went back to this phone. The things that matter are done well on this phone, the screen, speakers, haptics, and the camera. Grate video, love the dim black background..."subscribes"

What about the Samsung s20 fe? Do you think it has better camera that the pixel? Which one should I buy for enjoying photography? They cost nearly the same here in Spain, plus Samsung is water resistant (I’m interested in that too)

Would you ever consider shooting with the V60 and showing us how it would compare to the 12 Pro? The V series are a shining example of user control when it comes to video footage, and they had a pro mode way, way back in the LG V10 (long before Samsung took it seriously) and have been continuously improving it. Please take a look at it, I think you'll be impressed! The V60 can shoot in a flat LOG profile as well!!

I'm 70 yrs old and my computer/ phone is alien to me, but I can't figure out why my videos are pixelating after I download so I can send my videos to someone. Also I've found the videos were a little better using the 4a mode at 30 fps, because when I go to 60fps my video is awful and can barely noticeable after I download it. I've had help, "Smart Friends", and they couldn't figure out why, but I know some one can tell me how to work this phone.... by the way, after I messed with it I can only record 1 minute where I was able to video 2 minutes, what's the time limit have to do with my problem..?..HELP , , Ron please.

my dad used to use vouchers to buy phone at discount and i’m still having iphone 8 plus but i’m feeling quality been feeling behind compare to newer better camera phones and i have passion in taking photos and videos and i need a new one soon because i’m going on tour bus and want to take video but might use my dslr for photos, i don’t have a microphone for dlsr so i use phone but i rarely use actual dslr camera unless it’s like i brought it take for party or birthday because it for memories but normally will just use phone

I had the 3a XL and absolutely loved it, especially the camera, I'm more familiar with an SLR than I am phone cameras so I can't get too technical other than to say I think the quality of the camera is exceptional for a budget phone, so much so I bought the 4a, and although the camera is virtually identical to the 3aXL because it was so advanced I'm actually ok with that because I enjoyed the 3a so much, I want to use my phone to start a YT channel. Do you have any advice on what editors and apps etc I could use? Thanks so much 🙏🤗

Love the pixel 4a... The battery doesn't last all day like Google says it does, but when it only takes a half hour or less to charge it, depending on current battery charge, that's what I call a non-issue... everyone makes the phone out to be some kind of cheap crap, which it is not despite it's software and OS direction flaws... Honestly, I think all these "google" apps they try to force on your phone even if you don't want them, like the pixel buds app, is the only real problem... Also, I don't bother with applying LUTs and other color grading things, but I may have to start playing around with some post production stuff...

The video is really jerky when you pan, I thought maybe the app would fix it and seems the app doesn't really help? It's the same on most of the Pixel video footage I can find on youtube. I'm not sure if its a setting that causes this?

You mention that samsung is better than google pixel in some segment when it comes to images, and that's total nonsense. In no segment will samsung ever be able to compete with google pixel. You have to understand that there is no better phone in the world for photos than google pixels. I got the impression that you have no idea, that you know little about photography. If I already want to post procesing, I'll buy a dslr or mirroles camera, that's not the point of phone photos. When it comes to videos, the iphone is the best, but the king of photos is that phone you know nothing about.
