For people with access, it's clear that overloads, curses and summoning are so worthwhile. For newer players it's less clear. Maybe do a "how much difference does it make" video series where you run just like an hour at some different bosses with mid-tier gear and with/without these boosts. I imagine that would be a valuable video to newer players who don't believe it makes that much of a difference

Dude that's a great idea. Like an hour at helwyr in gano + t85 wands with just basic prayers, no summons, no potions. Then another hour at helwyr in subjugation + t85 wands with curses, ovls, and a ripper demon haha. It'll probably go from like 22 kills an hour to like 40 haha

@@pmApostic heres some strong advice. armor tier means jack. upgrade the weapons specifically. it says it in the vid but its a stupidly small amount increase from armor vs a LARGE increase from weapons

Can confirm on gconc. Stacking that with my t88 dual wield magic that had literally been *sitting in my bank for years* thinking "this is weaker than my t90 staff, why did I make these?" skyrocketed my magic dps when combined with incite fear and tsunami. Just crit crit crit, all the time (and a previously near-useless threshold turns into a second 40% adren pot), even more broken now that I have that ring from the rex matriarchs, as it is a channeled basic that you use about every other basic. Feels like Tsunami just becomes "for 20% adrenaline, *have infinite adrenaline for the next 30 seconds.* " No wonder people said magic was so OP. And the defender, while primarily a great combo with magic and the tank armor and animate dead, _has been really helping all 3 styles_ since I always felt my melee in particular lacked a lot of survivability. But now with greater barge (which was way cheaper than I remember) I can stop, use some defensives on the defender, and gbarge right back in and lose much less dps and have much less "the boss is doing a thing that's preventing me from dpsing due to not being able to be in melee distance." Plus the melee defender was by far the cheapest t90 one. So now for example instead of taking a lot of damage as melee and shoveling through food even with my sup scrimshaw of vamp, I can swap to the defender, stop attacking (cease or moving away) and use a few defensives like revenge and reflect, then gbarge back into the action and effortlessly soul split my hp back due to the reduced damage taken, while not losing dps in that period over a reg offhand due to revenge.

I needed this. My friend asked me to switch to RS from OSRS. Gave me a cash stack, and then quit playing. I had no idea how to spend it. I just bought gear that was good in OSRS and let the rest sit in the bank. 🤣

Sirenic armour is so cheap that it could be an exception to the weapons before armour rule. It might offer more bang for your buck than going from tier 80 to tier 90 in spite of being much lower impact overall. You won't be that much further from getting tier 90s after you buy it anyway because it's so cheap. Dual ascensions would cost 20 times as much. A longbow would cost over 30 times as much. Do you really think the weapon upgrade gives you 20 times more of a dps boost than the armour upgrade? Probably not. It's definitely a much larger boost. But 20 times larger?

The reason they say weapons before armour is because it doesnt matter if your armour is giving you t90 damage capabilities if your weapon can only do t80 damage.

Idk how but I got 6 cinderbane gloves in lost grove over last month. 88m-104m they sold for… total I have gotten so far I believe is 13 and I have yet to keep a pair… I sold my collection of feathers idk if I mentioned this or not once before but I had an obscure amount 😂 End total price was 2b and some change… 😢should of kept them

Long time sub here. Love the videos I really do, I listen to them on the way to work and home and sometimes even at work if I can. The thing is I feel like you’re saying the same thing over and over again. Helps the new players which is great and we need that in the community but for some subs it may be getting a bit stagnant. Maybe start a new series. I just feel like I don’t feel like clicking on your videos as much as I used to. And I still do and like the vid because you’re great, I hope the other subs don’t feel like me but I hope you see my point of view. Maybe make a series where you give away like 1b as the ultimate goal through pvm and helping new players. Idk something with a twist maybe. Thank you for your content and reading good luck !

I, like many other players are waiting for jagex to release new content that is engaging and fun :/ Your not wrong and I'm feeling the exact same as the person creating the content. But zammy was like 8 months ago, and the only "major" update we got was afk building a Fort since then lol. I'm still doing my ranged pvm series but until then it's gonna feel pretty draggy as the games in such a stale state right now :/ I'd say streams are my main content atm, and videos are just carrying us over until something fun and worthwhile comes! You are right though, I'm with you too lol. As for a series giving away 1b, the videos I make from helping free to play players probably give away 1b+ each episode anyways. It's hard to make that sort of thing into very regular content that people will actually click on though! But I'm aware, and am planning / doing my best to keep things unique as often as jagex gives us stuff >.

@@InitYeah I wanted to add to this thread as someone who feels the same about Jagex's content...They let parts of the game die while adding new updates that render older items/minigames obsolete. Void Knight's Robes were huge back then, same with Fighter Torso and other minigame specific items. Unfortunately, so much new stuff has come out that Jagex just lets the old stuff/items die rather than creating a system to make them useful and the minigames active again. RuneScape could easily make an item build system, like Fighter Torso turns into Barbarian Torso which turns into Berserker Torso which turns into a T90 or something which could help revitalize dead parts of the game by offering updated incentives. I feel like Jagex is heading in a weird direction to try and get new players and keep current ones, when in reality they needed to invest in regular interactions with the playerbase. A lot of people return because of nostalgia, yet get overwhelmed by the lack of familiarity anymore. I feel that if they embrace the community more, the content will start to come naturally. KZbinrs like you do wonders for the game.

been contemplating on getting back into rs3 but im not sure where to start. i have an old account from back before EOC was implemented. the last thing i did before i stopped playing was ancients, lunars and curses quests. im currently 109 cmb my ingame name is Pvm Thanatos. i sold off all my gear when i quit after EOC came out so im lost on what i need for all the new items that 95% of people have like the QoL items

I'll never understand though. I've you're using a magic staff, a Defender is no better than a shield because you still have to switch to it, right?

Can still use gconc with a defender but not with a shield :) Shields reduce your outgoing damage by a lot more too

Aftershock is weapon gizmo only, so with a defender you can switch to it without losing stacks. There are some other more niche advantages when it comes to dw, but for staff-camping, that's probably the biggest one.

You have p6as1 on MH, so when u switch to defender you keep ur stacks and have acces to defenses too

I'm curious, as I'm not sure if you have done this or not, why not do a video of killing Vendecta one with Mid tier armor but high tier weapon, a d then vice versa so people can understand the importance of it. I thought the other way, If i had better armor, I'll take less damage, there for less food and longer trip as suppose to I have stronger weapons, I can kill it faster, there for I don't have to use more food. Its a weird mind trap to get into.
