3rd boss, the giant square markers for the aoe's actually have a telegraph for what they're going to be before they even go off. If you have your camera zoomed out, you'll see giant versions of the symbols present in p3 of the boss hovering in the air, the light portion of these symbols indicates where the safe spots will be when comparing to the arena, and she'll always do them in the same order, west first, then east. Later on in p3, there will be one on each cardinal side since she does them back to back after the 2 initial outward wave attacks.

8:40 I've been doing mage pray + disruption shield + resonance/divert. You only get hit about 4.5k that way. A better gamer than me can use it to get full health, but if your movement is good, the rest of the fight is foodless with just haunt healing and darkness. It also means that what cost you 30 adren and two globals now costs one global and is a net ~10 adren gain (40 adren difference). Plus you can save limitless for devotion every time, which is probably bigger than the 40 adren.

Pro tip, don't destroy the moon shards at boss one. There's a chance they block the healing scarabs, who simply cannot go around them lmao

To do the fight correctly, you're going to be taxing your APM harder than Raksha. You'll be using abilities, flicking, and moving all at the same time. The fight is actually fairly low in chip damage taken except for messing up the movement mechanics. And I've had more luck moving than diving as a long dive can be slow to get you out of danger, plus the tiles are roughly the length of a dive so you can't dive diagonally if you don't start on a middle tile. I'd recommend necro for learning as haunt will just let you ignore the flicking for your first few kills. The flicks are actually super easy and the projectile animations are much easier to read than, say, ED3.

@@pondracek this was pretty helpful and it made normal mode an absolute breeze but I spent like 5 hours trying hard mode and maybe I was just getting sleepy but i'd make 1-2 mistakes so often I didn't get to p3 to practice much and I can't get the rhythm right, i take 1-2 hits and die S_S and youre right about the diving, but even moreso escape omg, escape NEVER gets me out in time even if i pre use it but your advice is actually really good even if i dont wanna hear it (cause i wanted to ditch necro at 120 lol but its literally a better way to learn a boss by nature of being simpler...)

@@gvccihvcci Try bringing a hellhound. I don't know what part of the fight you're struggling with, but forget about dive. You can camp the 4 intersecting squares around a gold corner and surge (or disruption shield) if all 4 are going to blast. I've died many times to getting slapped while diving. If you need to panic, disruption shield or resonance are better options (and simply walking from that corner tile gives you a 2-tick window to move)

On the first boss, turning off auto retaliate helps quite a bit, with auto retaliate on you can get dragged towards the boss or one of the heads, and makes your kill slower

Posting on every channel I can, my friend and I found out you can stunlock the second boss out of mechanics similar to telos. It was easy to do in duo, a bit harder to consistently stun in solo but still you will get less mechs

in p2 when the grid aoe's come out.. I'm like 99% sure they're telegraphed by the glyphs/icons that are hovering above the arena. Their shape is related to how it's placed on the arena & therefore you'll know prior where they come out. I didn't play more to confirm bc my sleepy brain couldn't focus lmao (Last boss)

I can do normal mode with no food. (Im sure plenty can) and can do boss 1 and 2 hard mode with relative ease. Ive got the mechanics mostly down enough that boss 3 on hard mode isnt an issue. Until the dogs appear, i just cant dps them faster than she heals, i end uo blowing thru most of my food cuz they hit constant 2k melees and i either die or run out or resources

How do you have the que pop up that tells you to go west and whatnot on the right side of your screen? Mines in the dead middle and half the time I can’t see where I’m even going and it’s in the way of catching the falling stuff mechanic and the square for the moonstone drop.

hopefully they dont take it out. standing under kerapac was a bug as well and they kept it. but even if they do take it out; the waves dont reach the edges of the arena so you can just surge to an edge and wait it out the same way

I didn't even know you can do that, usually when Nakatra says her line I would stand on the red square, make sure I'm facing away from the boss and press escape the first time I see the green smoke appear and repeat for the 2nd one,this allows me to avoid the damage and much like Raksha's tail swipe you'll soon get used to the timing.

@@garethhhhh I like to think of it as an extra challenge. It was really gratifying learning Zuk for the first time on mobile because now I know I can handle any boss if I put in the time to learn. With that said, pizza phase on Zuk is always tougher because I mis tap often and as far as I'm aware there's really no way to improve it on mobile, ie it's not a skill thing that I can improve. Most of the time on pizza phase you can easily walk out of the fire without being punished too badly, but this new boss looks like it'll wreck anyone and everyone with fat fingers

The waves aren't hard to dodge, if you see the first on appear run to the end, see the first wave spawn, click the NPC surge, walk back again and do the same, i never have gotten hit by them before.

Nah in hard mode just keep practising. The game can deffo use a tough boss like this. Gives everyone something to work for. The weapons are in normal mode, so it isn't too big an issue.

I don't see how you are doing hard mode. I have done many normal mode runs and still sometimes die. I am on world 58 with ping less than 30 yet I sometimes click 3 damn times before my player actually moves. Most of the time that delay gets me killed. No way I can get away with that in hard mode. I would just be making Death rich. Additionally there are times where I make a successful dive and cooldown is not reset. Also, the telegraphs for Kezalam seem to be much faster than Nekatra.

Thought I would give hard mode a try today. As I suspected...NOPE! Cannot even get past Kezalam. With the faster glyphs and delay in movement, I die every time. I do not understand how you are making it look so easy. I can literally click 3-5 times before my character actually moves. Gets me killed every time. Your abilities do not reset after successful attempt like at Nakatra so I don't see how I am going to complete this. Can dive one glyph but get 🤬ed by the second one immediately following.
