Any idea why when I plug something into the USB-C sometimes it'll show the PD lightening bolt symbol and sometimes it won't? I'm plugging in the exact same device.

I think that means fast charging. Seen on another video.

@@MrHuck Yes, for sure the lighttning bolt is a symbol for the PD charging, but my issue is that sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesn't for the save device that I'm plugging in. Doesn't seem to be a manual way to turn PD on or off.

​@@Funcentric are you trying to charge output while also charging the bank itself? it can only go fast in or fast out, it can't go fast both ways at the same time.

@@uncleho1945 No, just trying to output fast. Upon plugging the USB-C initially, the lightening bolt icon will show which indicates fast charging mode, but within a matter of seconds, the lightening bolt will disappear and no longer have high voltage.

You mentioned you could potentially charge the power bank while charging another device, have you tried this? Would be interesting if it could fast charge while being fast charged

i just tested it with two cables that i verified can fast charge and it doesn't work. when you have the bank plugged in charging (through the USB-C port) this sets the USB-A ports only to output at standard charging only. But the moment I stop charging the bank, the USB-A ports instantly switch over to fast charging. (tested with the larger 20,000 mAh version and a galaxy note 9.)

I concur! With myself... 1 month later... 🤔☹ I actually bought one of these! Phone holder clip thing is totally dumb and too hard to pull out, but battery pack is pretty solid otherwise. Anyways, I still don't know.. is it 2 or 3 18650s? I want to find out from the gooch!
