Injection pump on the 1550

The throttle shaft seals were leaking but the other seals were hard and brittle so maybe it's time for a rebuild

pump looks similar to the one on the Ford. from years of someone yanking hard as they could on the manual fuel shutoff the cap hole was slightly worn egg shaped and leaking. found TDC pulled pump and took it to the local shop. complete rebuild and the tractor has run much better ever since. video to remember how it goes back together is what I did when I rebuilt the carburetor on the Honda ATV.

Yeah the pump had other problems I'm glad I sent it to a shop to rebuild, not so much a fan of the bill ! Thanks Soybean Farmer

This pump kinda looks like the CAV pump for my Massey with a Perkins.I have it out and at the re builders right now.Y'all are brave going inside these pumps to do repairs,I have enough issues just finding TDC and removing and replacing the pumps!

The cav and roosamaster are similar. The cav is a lot more complicated in my experiences and I’ve had better luck with the roosamaster/stanadyne and they seem to be more responsive and just all around better

Dang! That's a disappointment. But, it'll be all nice and clean and fresh when they're done. Hopefully you didn't need that tractor right away. Good video explaining the process though.
