Injector Sleeve stuck to Injector / Removal DV6 1.6 HDI

You may encounter the Injector sleeve can get stuck to the Injector due to carbon build up from a leaking Injector seal.
Here I used a blow torch to allow the sleeve to fall off the Injector.
I don't claim this to be the correct method of doing this process. But it worked for me & I found minimal content on this problem.

hi this happened to me a few days ago found i your video which helped 100% i had to use a heat gun though which worked well but my worry is now i have the sleeve off the injector what will the effects be on the engine now this is out can i just push the sleeve back in or is this a whole new job i have got on my hands ?

Yes you can reuse the sleeve if not damaged. Just make sure the seals don't get damaged when installing
