not a lot if the gauge drops straight off its too much if it hags on its fine = usualy .always the odd odd ball

try merlin diesel or darewn diesel in UK for shims and or nozzles

Pity about that LT77 first motion shaft Mike, I've got an old mate here who's LT77 in his V8 Series burned that gear clear off, plus the cluster, he let the oil level get way too low. We found another way around to get it going using fairly worn bits out of some "junk" boxes, but it would have been nice to have the new bits.

Nobody wants old 40+ year old LT77 - upgrading to R380. I have about 3 or 4 complete boxes destine for the scrap

Indeed! In the next part, I had a bad injector and just changed the nozzle - nothing else. The spray was fine, and the pressure jumped back up. I concluded that the pressure went up because the tip of the needle valve had worn into the nozzle body on the old nozzle
