UPDATE: THE REASON I'VE YET TO MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO The part malfunctioned unfortunately. My car began throwing Emissions, VSA, and Power Steering warnings. Car would stall or wouldn't accelerate, removed the part and all is back to normal. Will be contacting Injen about this. Was fun while it lasted, but not worth replacing every year, or worrying about the long term affects to the car.

@@kellypark007 I was hoping to have it replaced by Injen, but they gave me the run around unfortunately. It was fun while it lasted, but if I decide on another throttle controller, I may look into Pedal Commander

Still have it installed in your Honda? I’m really considering getting one! But I have a couple concerns.. 1. Is it bad for the engine or throttle body? 2. Should I uninstall it, when the time comes to pass emissions (I live in CA) then just reinstall it afterwards.. oh and do you notice a difference on fuel consumption? Does it save you any money overall? And so on..

I wonder if this will bring my Rpm down quicker when clutch is engaged. What does launch control do keep boost built up or keep rpm at 4,000 limit or so?

The purpose is, if you are driving and want to accelerate, but it takes a few seconds for your kickdown gear to work, this will help that make a quicker transition.

John, yes you will suffer in gas milage if you drive around in sports mode 24/7. I drive at the stock setting, and kick it into sport mode when I want a little extra get up, so I haven't noticed too much of a drop in milage.

@@xTANKx8228 got it, thanks. my problem with my benz d300 is a slag throttle response during drive, I mean when not in drive mode, engine RPM seems following the gas pedal quite well. but when in drive, the opposite. I'm suspecting my tranny now...

That being said you can beat v6 cars if your car is a v4 if you have turbo it'll definitely help also yes you could if your car has a faster take off which is what this device does it makes it rev up faster so theres a chance. Long run they will win obviously they have more power still

No, it should not be blinking red at all. I suggest you run through the pedal calibration again. You can find the step by step in the manual that was provided

@@sf415city oh your not talking about the controller...I'm not sure if it blinks because its tucked up in my dash, so I never see it. I do know the controller stays on for a bit after turning off the car.

@@sf415city just went out to the car and pulled the black box from under the dash...the red light is blinking. I'm going to assume this indicates power to the unit, but non the less it's nothing to worry about!

Can you switch modes while driving or do you need to be completely stopped?

You can switch modes while driving, it will just change the throttle sensitivity. So I don't suggest doing it while on the gas, but there are times I throw it in neutral and switch modes.
