I think what you're referring to is the quality of materials as opposed to the quality of assembly, which is as good as ever. As far as pricing goes, all cars are considerably more expensive post Covid/inflation that we've had.

@@ReconRangersPasukanKhusus I'll get to the golf r one day lol ..work closer to home now (only 8 miles away instead of 22 ) so having a diesel car don't interest me anymore, so starting off with the GTI first then maybe in 2-3 year's time go for the r....if there still being made , don't want electric 😥

Alfa Romeo wheels,sme exhaust outlet like my 10 yearold golf,no changes to boot,stil has hexagonal front ,no change to reveuw mirrors,buttons and rear veiw adjustment no change,has b8gger infotainment system,so why would i change my Clubsport for a new Gti 😅😅😅😅
