Thanks mate. Exocaged has just done a few videos on one of these, the Austar version. He's made it into a brushless monster truck & jumping it all over the shop.!! 😂 😂 So far he hasn't broken it.! How's your experience been since this video.? They're £160 here in the UK & I'm trying to decide whether or not to get one... I've had good & bad luck with Chicom copies in the past.! I haven't run it that much, but so far it's still fine. I upgraded the shocks. One shifting servo burnt out, probably from being adjusted poorly, initially i had them adjusted perfectly, but the system isn't as robust as traxxas I'm sure. Wonky tolerance. Definitely could use improvement. I 3D printed a cybertruck body which turned out great, i should probably make a video on it. If i could go back there's some that have more metal, and honestly i could have been fine without remote locking diffs. More of a hassle than they're worth for me. 2 speed is definitely nice though.

I do intend to upgrade to brushless but yeah busy with everything else in life.

Traxxas makes awesome trail trucks. It's no surprise that other manufacturers would try to replicate it. Welcome all contenders. But please make realistic or licensed bodies.

Yup, i was doing this on a budget and decent bodies were like another 80 bucks. At that point I kind of regretted not just buying a traxxas with a body. In the end i got my body for free basically though... 3d printed cybertruck. Turned out good, although kinda heavy.

@SlapDash Maker Exactly. By the time you put a body on you like and upgrade a couple of things you could've bought a higher end rig. But if you don't mind how the body looks, plastic gears this kind of thing it's really not a bad truck. And honestly who doesn't customize their truck. Keep the shiny side up and happy RCing.
