Hi mate 👍🏻 many thanks for watching I appreciate it - yeh I’ve got you on my Strava as well mate - I bet it’s brilliant not having them U.K. winters over there ……. It’s great to hear your doing some cardio to help with the weight loss it really does help but diet is super important . One thing that helped me was if I was going to have a bit of a carb binge I would have them for my tea at night and make sure I do a decent run the following morning whilst all the carbs are still in your system your body will use them as fuel , you can burn them off then they don’t convert to fat which is what happens to unused carbs . You still get to enjoy them carby meals ….keeps your head above water as well so it’s doesn’t have to be to restrictive - everything in moderation mate - all the best mate 👊👊

@@Journeyoflee Great advice mate , thanks My weight is 16 stone 10 lbs would love to get down to 15 . And break 30 min in 5k Lately though after my runs bottom of my feet have been so painful especially the heel. Have you got any advice mate would appreciate it thanks 😊

@@anthonybigjerseyox1000you will get there mate , it’s just not easy but anything is possible 💪👍🏻 I’ve had that pain when I first started out and it can be a combination of laces to tight , the shoes your running just aren’t right for you and / or your running form . You could be leaning and not having good posture when your running or you might not be landing right . Try keeping your back straight and running slow like your on hot coals that should correct your form mate if it is that . We all get aches and pains from time to time , I’ve got a certain pair of trainers which everytime I wear them give me grief for the first 5k then they are like slippers after then and I could run in them all day - hope that helps pal 💪💪

A nice thing about running is that you only need a pair of shoes and you're good to go. For cycling, the investment in the bike can be a lot bigger. Having said that, a bike can also be of use to the non-injured runner. I frequently first set off on the bike to go for a run somewhere else, so I don't have to do the same loop around the house over and over again. It depends a bit on where you live, but from my home I have several places I can cycle to within 5 to 15km, so I never have to be bored for my Sunday long run. Btw, for such tyres, I would do about 40-45psi.

Correct mate you can get an entry level pair of running shoes for £50ish but an entry level bike would probably be £400 ish … I am enjoying the bike , it might be old and only a mountain bike but I just love been out training 😊 cheers for the tip about the tyre pressures I’m going to let a little air out 👍🏻👍🏻 all the best
