definately sick canary gameplay, any tips for consistently nailing the b3 after the MB head slam move, (DB2) , really am 50/50 and even lower online.

No real tips atm sorry :( just practice it and look for any visual cues that might help you

mcknife25 All I can say is the timing is quicker than you'd think. Go into training mode, grind it out, and just convert the timing to muscle memory

lol true but neither one of us wanted to risk getting pressured by the other. canary would still win because her trait will do chip damage fullscreen whereas cheetah has nothing to do damage to her from fullscreen

So I understand when zones want to be at full screen. But why do the non zoners also want to play footsies at full screen? I've only played capcom fighting games so I don't really know how NRS games work.

zhafsan they don't, the only reason this guy is going full screen is to bait the opponent into making a move so he can punish with his screech

+misterperson331 ^that and to build meter. Canary can evade projectiles while building meter fullscreen, so I get to stock it up, take no damage, and get my trait to build up in the process

Akromaniac27 ah ok I did not notice that is a special move, I thought that was her back dash. I haven't seen people build meter like that since Evo 2002, Tokido vs Justin in 3s. Btw is Canary a good character to start with if all I've been playing are basically Street Fighter games (all the way back to sf2ww)?

+zhafsan uhhh, yes and no. she has the meta of parries available to her, but her neutral isn't the strongest. I'd honestly suggest wonder woman. she's footsie, conditioning and fundamental oriented at its core

Akromaniac27 ok thanks I'd consider WW. The zoning in this game is so scary. I've never had to deal with this much zoning in a SF game, Guile and Dhalsim pales in comparison.

thanks for the comment! if you mean a video of my loadouts for her, sure I can do that. as for using it offline or online, you should be able to use it no matter what. in both settings too, is the option to turn gear off so that any additional stats or abilities aren't there; it's just the base for every character while they keep their look

Christopher Tigno The thing is, gear has random stats, and usually has a random appearance (except for epics), so it wouldn't really help much.

boring playstyle, thats why dislike, nothing personal but i dont like to watch anyone for 2 mins just sit and farm bars in every match when they were almost dead, get balls, go in, make pressure and plays, outplay them, thats more interesting to watch

Banes pretty good if you know what does and doesn't work with him. Keeping venom and timing it can get massive damage.
