This game is extremely well balanced and almost any character can be dangerous in the hands of the right player. He'll I saw footage of somebody sweeping a major tournament with Bane. Some people get too hung up on what characters are what tier.

Invisible Raccoon Im not very clever when it comes to these things, but i use Grodd, and while i like the meter burned air pulse, and the meter burned mind control is strong, I don't feel trait brings a lot of reward. especially in other match ups when it's unsafe to bring out trait in the neutral. Just my thoughts. do you use Grodd?

i feel the trait gives him that extra little boost but its not necessary. Typically i use 223 to send him full screen so i can get my trait out relatively safe. I've been using him day one as a main (only swapping to green lantern if the match up is unfavorable) and he's the only one that really gets me hype seeing.

I use Grodd against people like Harley Quinn, Cheetah and Robin and I usually come out on top. 223, and the Telekinesis Blast send them full-screen + the carcass toss ability, so they can never apply pressure, and then Mind Control if they try to be slick, I love Grodd

This grodd probably wouldve won a few more games if he went for damage each time he had a combo going. He kept going for the reset each time. Maybe practicing it or something idk. Still a great grodd obviously

This Grodd was good at first, but as Honeybee learned their play-style they didn't change up anything. So often they would leap in an attempt to get the crossup jump 2, even if it meant putting themselves in the corner..Grodd has a lot of good potential on the ground with stampede that I hoped would get utilized more in this set. as always, a joy to watch though!

Grodd's only downfall was not using his trait, but he knew getting close to you meant he'd be grabbed. Intimidated much to strike bee? I honestly saw him winning it many times if he would of used his trait, dude would of mixed you up back to back with it although he played an awesome grodd. this is not a infinite. its a 5050 cross over into RESTANCE the forward kick is A STAGGER you just have to catch it fast enough. ALSO you can stampade cancel similar to kabal from mk 9, its insafe on block but a great mix up into command grab, especially with trait up

Two things abotu the speed punch special..... YES I agree it should NOT be clashable.... ANNNDDDD it shoudl ALSO BREAK ARMOR.... I mean, isn't the whole point of the special move that he hits you like 10 times in one single instance but so fast that it LOOKS like it's only one hit? You guys are crazy this grodd was trash I main grodd, And I can tell he was trash. He went for the reset way to much knowing grodds overhead is shit, After every 2,2,3+1 he went for the restand when he should have went for the uppercut then back 3 then whatever combo after for more damage plus a reset if wanted. Also I don't think he baited a single wake up from honeybee, He over used primal lunge, Couldn't stampede cancel. Theres alot more fuck ups not gonna list every single.... HOWEVER I get that he may not have played grodd enough to know this, But I bet his grodd nowdays is prolly beast

Whe he first beat you, you sed..... this grodd is real... to me it looked like he was using one simple gimmick and wasn't really that good at playing his opponent......... Luckily by the end my idea was justified........ he didn't look that good to me.... he looked like any number of gimmick players who do one thing that works over and over again...... Unfortunately injustice seems to be different than MKX in that gimmick will not get full combo punished....... in MKX any gimmick can get pretty badly punished, there is always an attack answer for everything in MKX... In injustice the answer seems to be to block return to neutral, and win the neutral. So if someoe is gimmick player and can only do one thing........ but can't fighting in the neutral, he's a gimmick player.... knows one thing that work with most ppl that's all.
