Doesn't include non-tournament legal Abilities hidden in Lootboxes since... they are hidden in Lootboxes! Everything starts with Superman. The events of Injustice happen because Lois Lane gets killed by Joker, so Supes loses hope in mankind and decides to rule it. Basically the ultimate "Superman but evil" arc. In the game, he can do anything you'd expect, from freezing breath to eye beam. What I love about the game is the sense of speed. Like whenever he flies, he shoots off like in Man of Steel. It's amazing. Also the sound design, and stage destruction. Far more interesting moveset than Batman, yet much more boring character... cough.

Kal-Al crashlanded on earth as a baby when his home planet collapsed, killing most of his race. He was raised by humans and protects earth as Superman, keeping his identity secret by disguising himself as the dorky Clark Kent. Who doesn't know that story? In the Injustice storyline, Superman drops his ideals and takes control over earth after Joker kills Lois Lane and his unborn child, while heroes and villains pick sides. His Circle attack is a very short buff where he gets powered by the sun, during which he also punches through the opponent's attacks.
