The truly scary people, though, aren't the ones who're doing monstrous things because they think it's fun or what have you. They, like Clark (I agree, calling him Superman doesn't really feel right, although I did just typo that as Supermad, which seems more fitting XD ), really believe what they're doing is good, just, right. Heroic, even. Fanatical zealots who even today kill people because they believe them to be witches think they're doing the Lord's work. Real-life vigilantes who, nothing like their comic counterparts often just beat the everloving shit out of people who flat don't deserve it think they're doing a community service. jgfjgfify no, batman's no killing rule works to prevent him from turning him into a murderer and not to give villains second chances. If fingers need to be pointed, then it's the society's fault for not issuing the death penalty. Batman believes judgement should passed by the people. Even though he will go above the law to get to his objectives, he almost never passes judgement, especially onto his foes. Just imagine batman as an extension of the police, he captures villains to be tried under the court of law.
