Hoodie it is mostly recomended to play dpad on games like mk and injustices beascuse the have special moves that requires simple moves like down back and so on.

Hey super and chat i'm looking for advice. I'm trying to get good at the game, and its proven to be very, very challenging. I know how to do massive damage combos and bnbs, I wreck every multiverse battle i'm in, but when I go online I get destroyed. What I've noticed is that its hard for me to block and play footsies at the same time, as well as punishing attacks (even when they're very unsafe). Any tips to improve those things? thnx

if you're new to injustice it'll just take more playtime since it is strange to walk back and forth while you have to hold down/back to block. i would recommend practice your punishes with the character you use vs one you struggle with. also you might panic to go for a punish and it messes up your timing

As soon as my meter burned lightning kick come out I mash circle lol it seems bad but it works for me. It gives you time to mash circle too because as soon as you see the little white light that comes out when you meterburn a move you just press circle rapidly.
