I tend to start mashing when the inputs aren't being read very well! Alot of combos require some specific timing and it gets me mad when it doesn't work! I love this game!

I love this, injustice 2 is looking pretty good, many first time fighters come from this like me, looking forward for more. Im having so much trouble getting punished, not knowing when to combo, and not knowing to punish whiffs or blocks.

Nice tips btw gave me some more motivation to keep trying and to not give up. I haven't really played a fighting game since Soul Caliber 4 on my 360 so I'm still getting used to things. Playing story mode has been a lot of fun and can't wait to play all the way through it. All these characters make the game so overwhelming because you wanna be able to play well with every character but like you said it takes time. I play on PS4 do you find it easier to use the D-PAD or Right Analog stick for movement. I've been switching back and forth but can't seem to master either one yet. Using your suggestion, want to focus on 1 or 2 characters and learn them exceptionally well. That way I won't feel so overwhelmed...oh and those online tryhards really put a beating on me tonight. I couldn't get one attack on some of these kids it was insane. It's like they mastered their characters and I need to do the same. I just gotta come back strong LOL
@jaxnotreal7 жыл бұрын
Joaquin Reyes First of all, you don't move with the Right Analog Stick and the D-Pad is much more efficient for moving
@CrimsonAltar7 жыл бұрын
While some people can play with the analog I dont recommend it. Go into practice and learn your positive frame attacks and negative ones as well. learn one character at a time.
@rangodash7 жыл бұрын
Joaquin Reyes Stop being so egotistical and accept that you don't know what you're doing, and you're garbage. If you were any good at Soul Caliber 4 the fundamentals would transfer over, you're not fooling anyone you played that game casually and were garbage at it as well. Calling players that beat you "tryhards" and "kids" just makes you look more pathetic, just because you have no idea what you're doing doesn't mean the people who do are tryhards, no-lives, etc.

I think Injustice 2 is the better game. Whichever series it may be, NRS seems to be improving upon the last game they come out with. Injustice 2>MKX>Injustice>MK9. It's that simple. I'm sure the quality of the next game will surpass that of Injustice 2, based on the trend, but this is purely conjecture. There are definitely going to still be people playing MKX this early on, but as time goes on the numbers will dwindle. psy lence You say that the question doesn't pertain to you, which I assume is because you don't own Injustice 2 yet. If that is indeed the case, you are in no position to give your opinion on the matter since you have not put in the necessary time to get a feel for Injustice 2.

I disagree with one point. Some characters are very good for jumps. For example, when I play black canary or cheetah, I jump to great effect. Obviously, mashing up constantly is a bad idea, but jumping heavily isn't always a bad idea

What do you mean by - frame data? It's always just a positive number e.g 8
@MrSketchead7 жыл бұрын
You're probably looking at Startup frames, this is always positive, because it tells you how quickly the move starts. Block advantage is what tells you how long much the recovery is, if your opponent blocks the move. This can be negative. Recovery is how long you character takes to recover is you miss your opponent with the move.

Red block and poke back or punish. looknat the frame data. example would be if scarecrow is mashing down 1 and im superman i would block and then right after do my own d1 linked into a special move of cancel the d1 into a meter burned f3 by just hittin ff f1 while doing a d1.

To be honest the one thing that really pisses me the fuck off the most about fighting games is you have to deal with fucking piece of shit online spammers they do it on purpose to piss you off and when you start spamming them texts they will report you and then you will be suspended for two weeks so I found a way to get them back by pretending to be a spammer they get so pissed they literally rage quit during a fight and they will talk shit at you it's the most hilarious shit in the world every time I have to deal with a spammer and then I tell them then why don't you stop being a spammer and learn to play the game the right way a lot of times they will tell you it's just a fucking video game who cares then I will tell them then why did you buy Injustice 2 just to spam people? after that they won't even bother replying back because they know they are wrong lol 🤣👍 but I do give respect to those who actually fight for real with skills I give credit when credit's due 😇👍 but your tips is true about learning past mistakes but some people are very stubborn to learn from there past mistakes I wonder why? Why is it so hard for a person to admit their past mistakes? Every time I screw up it's my job to correct my mistake this is how you improve yourself to be a better person and a skilled fighter does anyone agree? Leave a like and comment 😇👍

I didn't watch all the vid, I stopped at focus on one char. That is bullshit. You need to practice with every char, know every string and special cancel. I don't use frame other than quickest start up strings, and I suggest others dont but instead get a "feel" for what moves are safe and at an advantage by doing the strings yourself and blocking/punishing them yourself. One major tip (idk if it was in this vid) is put the online input delay on, offline
@sub7se7en7 жыл бұрын
Nah, son. If you don't know how to play the game and don't get the mechanics, you need to focus on one character until you get the hang of the way the game works. Once you understand the mechanics, then that will translate nicely into other characters, making this easier going forward. If you didn't stop watching the video, you would have seen him explain this. Maybe instead of stopping a video because they say something you don't agree with or don't like, how about you suck it up and stick it out and get a full understanding of what they're saying. Might keep you from making yourself look like a tool in the comments.
@2spliffs41lifetime7 жыл бұрын
@subseven totaly agree with you! im new to fighting games and and all the different combos and strings just confused me as hell. now that i started focusing on one character it feels much more natural to do stuff. And once i feel real confi ill be checking out new heroes ! @Stinkyremy u have to realize that not everyone is a fighting game vet and string/frame punishes is something you start doing when u fully understand the core mechanics wich a new player will definetly not
@cluke_11587 жыл бұрын
subseven no. Completely wrong. You have to play everyone to find who you are best with, have pockets for bad matchups with your main, or you'll never win.
@sub7se7en7 жыл бұрын
Cluke115 / NinjaGames you clearly didn't understand my post. go reread it, then we shall discuss.
@cluke_11587 жыл бұрын
subseven what other thing am I supposed to read? I'm saying that it's the exact opposite of what you said. You need to practice multiple before you can just learn one. Multiple playstyles, multiple characters with different movesets and frame data makes you able to understand what your main excels at, and what would counter that. Like how air laser with superman counters someone like fate who has grounded zoning and not very great anti airs

Do? Avoid the game. It's a trap. Don't? Play it, because there's no accurate hitboxes and certain characters moves contact before they even move (Basically every Robin move, making him impossible to fight) It's REALLY fucking broken. I've punched, lazered, etc, THROUGH enemy combatants and ... no hit. Robin swipes his sword 3 feet away from my characters head? Hit. It's broken, don't buy it.
