Martian Manhunter's weakness isn't really fire , it's just in his head like a mental fear or a phobia . I do hope he is alive. I love how you said that Martian Manhunter is the heart and soul of the justice league (also, fuck cyborg for taking his spot as a member of the justice league. ) If Martian Manhunter doesn't make it into injustice 3 , Netherealm can at least bring Miss Martian. She would be an awesome successor for the best hero in the justice league

Yes, but you forget the multiverse and infinite possibilities. Owlman said a universe is created when we make a choice. History branches in two, creating a universe where we made the choice, and a second where we did not. He also said there are universes so similar to ours that you can spend lifetimes trying to find a distinction, and others so radically different, they defy comprehension. So yes, Manhunter's weakness is technically a phobia, however, this may not be true in every universe.

The Jake yea maybe equal in strength since mmh stated hes as strong as him but overall mmh beats him. Mmh also has martian vision (his heat vision basically) he has everything superman has plus more. Thats what i mean by being more powerful. Mmh can also pass tgrough things and even regenerate. He may have taught superman how to resist telepaths i dont think he can resist op telepaths like mmh. Mmh once mind wiped everyone on earth including the justice league.

Well Manhunter was inside (phasing) Wonder Woman, Killing her. So Superman blasts her with heat vision. Manhunter's weakness is fire/heat. So it makes sense.

Arslan to be fair Martian man hunter caught them off guard they didn't expect to just be randomly mind wiped although I agree that Martian man hunter would win a fight I don't think he'd completely wipe the floor with them not even trying plus he also has a weakness to fire and uh superman does kinda have heat vision now I don't know if Martian manhunter has a actual weakness to fire in continuity or if he's just so terrified of it where he basically is useless but if he has a weakness to fire then it could go either way if not then I'd say Martian man hunter wins

There's no way he's dead, at least this iteration of him. He's nearly Superman's equal, it'd take more than that. It's actually very in line with his character to have faked his own death, and gone completely into hiding. It's where JJ does his best work.

I do find it interesting that when they talk to Subzero, there are a lot of references to DC vs Mortal Kombat. I actually would not mind if they just straight up mix the two together. Like seeing an Injustice Comic with Subzero helping them out like he does in the arcade ladder.

Even then, like the user above me pointed out, Martian Manhunter has a psychological weakness to it, not a physical one. Injustice nerfed Martian Manhunter, just like they did with Shazam.

Martian Manhunter can't die so easily. Yes, he is afraid of fire but it doesn't mean that Superman's heat vision could kill him like that. I think that Martian Manhunter was severely burned but survived and indeed hid in Atlantis to recover. In Injustice 2 Brainiac takes Atlantis. By that time Martian Manhunter has recovered completely and could have escaped Atlantis. The same goes with Carrol Ferris who could turn into Star Sapphire and abandon Coast City for a while. Of course, Hal doesn't know about that. I hope that MM and SS will be in I3. P.S. Fuck WW in Injusticeverse

Personally I think they're leaving it ambiguous on purpose. While the arcade scene isn't canon, it's entirely possible that he went under cover as an Atlantian but he never formed a new league. Another clue is that the Atlantian that the ending shows him undercover as does appear in the first game, he's the historian that Earth Prime Aquaman talks to. With that in mind, if they choose to bring him back, he didn't die. If they don't, he did.

Superman just picked up Atlantis out of the ocean and dropped it in the middle of the desert, Aquaman was forced to comply with everything he said so Superman could put the city back where it belongs

I think he is alive as stated by martain manhunter himself it isn't a physical weakness its a mental weakness fire cannot really hurt the martain they have been shown to survive on outer planets with tempatures very high even being by stars which I may say are hotter then fire another thing I would like to add on about Superman's heat vision it can create fire seen multiple times when he shoots at doomsday and darkseid they are on fire after the blast now I'm not saying that this may be the case for martain manhunter but in the new 52 he has been shown to do many things and was even stated to be the most dangerous note I said dangerous not strongest in the new 52 continuity

The big difference between Kal-El and Martian is , Superman can't miss what he never had. He knows nothing of Krypton, no memories... nothing. Martian lost EVERYTHING and he still has those painful memories
