I looooove those giraffes, sooo cuute :) I've been drawing greyhound for the past 2 months (prepping for Artober) first year Im going to do every single day so just trying to make it as easy on myself as I can ! Ive never tried ink, not with dip pens anyways, might be fun to try out, makes it a bit looser, as I love my fountainpens but I do get quite tight with those, which is fine for some work :)

@@monkeymintaka yeah after adopting an ex racing greyhound a few weeks ago, it just felt natural and decided to do a Greyhounds at home and got a lot of awesome photos for reference! Hopefully can shine some light or spark a debate about the greyhound industry, it aint pretty and it needs to stop :)

this is so lovely! your animals have such silly personalities! i deal with mobility issues and art has been a lil hard lately but the ink + bamboo pen combo looks like it will be the exact type of hand-friendly i need! the varied lines lends itself to a be a lil unpredictable and a looser and fun style which i need so that i dont cramp myself dwelling on small details. What type of bamboo pens do you use?

Thanks so much! Sorry to hear about your mobility issues :( I hope that you are not in pain with them. I think you’re right, the pens could work really week especially with some fun unpredictable lines! I have no idea what these pens are sorry 🙈 I picked up a cheap set on Amazon, I think any will work.
