Your method of measuring time for ink-tank was wrong. If you copy/ xerox - then it is both scanning & printing. That is why it took nearly double the time. You should have just printed from mobile as you did with the previous one.

I think you neglected mentioning that ink dries out much sooner if left unused which means you need to replace the cartridge. And those cartridges are very expensive and not all brands allow us to refill them. For Laser, you can leave the cartridge unused for any amount of time and refills cost a few hundred bucks. Unfortunately Laser colour printers cost over 50k so we only have black and white options.

@@Arktic325 It will not dry out but you will still spend a lot of money on those prints and your cartridge will get emptied soon. I recommend getting an ink tank model which can print more pages for less and using that once in couple of days to keep it running.

Sir, I think you forgot to mention this very important detail. Inkjet and Ink tank printers are useless for small time printing jobs. If they're left unused for 1 week, the ink dries out and jams the print head. And cartridges aren't cheap, if the print head is jammed then the printer is done for. Such issue is not present in laser printers since the toner is dry powder, they can be left unused for very long time without degrading print quality. So my opinion is to buy inkjet printer only if you plan on printing 5 - 10 pages daily, otherwise go with laser printer for maximum price efficiency.
