Amazing seeing this card today. It made me happy and a little sad. My friend Tom loved lighthouses and he was definitely one of the bright lights in my life. He passed away in 2016 from cancer and Sunday (the 26th of August) was his birthday! If he was still with us I'd love to recreate this card if I had thr supplies. Thanks for sharing this project.

Great idea and wonderful job on this card. I'm not sure I'd use them on a card myself, although they could be very cute as lights on a Christmas tree, or possible as the flame of candles for a birthday card. I'd probably use them on a decorative project, maybe a felt Christmas tree or something like that. Thanks for sharing another fabulous video with us.

This is a really great card. I'm always impressed by your creativity and imagination. I think I might try to put the switch between the card layers with the lights and have the on/off switch stick out through the foam layers. Not a criticism, just a thought. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻

I'm wondering what a "starry night" card would look like with those lights...I'm imagining something very cool. When you put the card front on the blue backing, I was thinking it would be easier to leave the card front face down, with the lights inside the foam tape border, and just put the blue backing on top of it. Yes? No?

Yes! That would look awesome with a sky. :) For me, it is easier to put the white piece on top. I’ve mastered lining up paper that way.

I would have loved to know what you did with the battery pack. Did you attach it to the card back? The battery packs of the fairy lights I have a super bulky (they use AAA batteries). I will have to see if i can get the ones you used here in Germany. It would also be fun to see if I can attach the battery pack inside the „shaker“ portion so you can operate the switch on the side of the card. Thank you so much for sharing.

I would hand deliver it... I just hide the switch behind the card. It’s needed to turn on and off the lights! :)

@@simon.hurley I saw that. What I didn't see was where and how you attached the pack and switch. You said on the back, but did not show how you put it on the back . Glue it? Tape it? Cover it with a piece of card stock ? Thank you

You can glue it on the back. I just tuck it behind the car to display it and leave it loose. :)
