@@michaleedwards4310 yes I have a Sizzix Big Shot and I’ve just tried the floral plate and the Happy Birthday plate. Works brilliantly but I would have been better impressed if the cleaning product was included in the starter kit. I struggled to get the ink off the plates.

This definitely gives beautiful result!! I very much appreciated your clear review. But all 25:20 I can see is how much money would have to be spent to make this worth having. Anything that requires reinvestment in the medium to make images, as it can't use any of my collection of stamps and dies, I won't be purchasing. I can't!! I won't purchase the glimmer foil system either. I am not saying these new products aren't fantastic, because they are! But for every new system that is released you have to build your inventory up from scratch. The cost is prohibitive. How many prople will buy the starter kit and then a few dies where it will eventually end up in a corner gathering dust because each time you want to make a card you have to buy something first, an expensive product. Just thinking of the money Spellbinders is going to make off this is something else.

I just placed my order for the system and several plates as well as the inks. I just loved your cards and instructional video. I think my favorite though was definitely the one where you applied different color inks to the flower and then made the tan colored leaves! It was just gorgeous! Thanks again, Simon!

Beautiful cards - the first light multicolored background would be so pretty to stamp the butterflies on and cut them out - then fold the butterflies at their body and adhere them to white card stock, fold the wings up and they look like they are flying

Very good review, you showed all the good and the possible drawbacks, thanks so much. They are beautiful results, but I do have to think about how much I would use it. I did see someone else did try and use the plates in the glimmer and they seem to work there too, so that would be a plus. But I don’t have the glimmer so wouldn’t do much for me. Thanks again!

I like the shot in beginning you had with the Betterpress sitting on the Platinum machine. Looked very professional. I like watching how the Betterpress works. The images are very beautiful. Another great video, Simon, and the best part was your reaction when you took out that very first panel! It reminded me of Jennifer McGuire's reaction. You both were so amazed and excited! That first panel was my favorite, but I have to admit when you put the butterfly white panel over the colored butterflies I literally said, "WOW!" out loud!!

Yes, the reaction was 100% genuine… I was shocked. When you run it through the machine it doesn’t seem like much is happening. But, when you take it out… the results are STUNNING!

I loved the way you did color blending on the butterfly card. Especially when you sprayed it with water. I really think the only way to add color to these images is with some sort of water color. It gives the best results. Color pencils, IMO, don't work, they don't give a professional finish. Thank you. I'm really glad I came back to watch the rest of the video.

I feel like you could use regular cardstock too… you just may get less texture depending on the thickness of the cardstock. I’ll test it out soon. :)

First off, lemme say I am totally mesmerized by this Letterpress!!! But, with that being said, since you've come out with the Hot Foil Plates & your own dies to match your stamp sets....I just now realized there has been no "awkward die cutting scenes" 🤣🤣🤣 I was trying to impress my wife the other night while I was making a card and when I went to use MY diecutting machine (of course it was the Spring Chicken die set) I said to her "Here comes the awkward die cutting scene like Simon does" and she laughed at me!!!! (truly though she does support my love for all things Simon!!!!!)

Would it be possible could you use hot plate dies that you use for foiling work with this system. Then those dies have double use for the crafter's that have them . A printing press system was out a few hrs ago .

I believe you can use the betterpress plates for foiling, but the foiling plates won’t work in this machine. That’s what I’ve been told. I’ll test it soon! :)

Trying to find the "Butterfly Swirl" set that has the one piece "bronze" die cut. Can't seem to find anything but the die cut that cuts the butterflies individually. HELP! (Love, love, love your videos! You are my "go-to" designer! I trust anything with your name attached to it!

I have purchased it, tried it and like it. But your comment about how many of this 'one' card will I actually make. Also I bought the 8.5 X 11 paper in porcelain i can cut it into A2 card panels for less than they sell the cut panels. Now I know I will have to make at least 100 cards. I do like pressed image.

You can do this with your regular die cutting machine and using your rubber mat. This better press is $70!! Just for the platform!! Why can't they make these adorable??
