I do have a case in mind…. I would like to do an E stitch, lets say protruding stitches being 6mm apart, and 6mm long, but I wanna do 2 stitches in between at 3mm long instead of one stitch. What kills me about converting to satin from an outline, is it takes the outline as a guide, creates two new lines, one outward by 3mm and one inward by 3mm and deletes the outline. I want to create the outline, and it create the protruding Stitch 6mm inward from it, and done! Im guessing thats a manual task? Ps your videos are super helpful!

So I try to make the jumpstitch as small as possibel (Brother PE 535 doesn't cut stitches) and try to get the satin stitch to end on the same side as the next letter begins. Practical or unnecessary to do this? What do you think?

since i have old manhands I tend to go the other way, making them long as I can. For me it makes it easier to see and grab as needed in order to trim.

Im just a little unclear of the purpose of the "rungs". Can you tell me how those are used?

It tells inkstitch the direction and angle of stitching for satin stitch. I'll be putting together a video this evening that will explain the rungs in more detail.

It's also required if your nodes on the rails don't match for inkstitch to understand it is a satin stitch.

We have a brother SE something single needle flatbed. We also have a ricoma 10 needle em1010 and a ricoma 15 needle mt1501.

@@HaleyHendrickson-wd5kx We do really like our ricomas, both of them. Do not get the 1010 if you plan on doing hats, it can do them, but it's not a fun time. Other than that both machines are great.
