In an odd turn of events, prison literally changed my life and when I came home I literally carried myself totally different and with much more self respect and authenticity. I didn't give in to my temptations to resume my old ways, I had built character and patience, and it has helped me immensely with starting a small business, failing, starting another and finally after 5 years of living very humble out here, am making honest but great money and am on my way to having a good life.

I did the same. Within a year of being released and my home plan was homeless, had nothing but the clothes on back and slept on my friends hammock for 3 weeks upon my release, I now own 2 $300k condos, 3 cars a motorcycle, have a newborn with my gorgeous wife. Anyone can do it it’s a mindset

I can tell both of you have a good head on your shoulders so you must know that not everyone in prison can do what you do. Some people are simply born with a lower intelligence and their maximum potential is a cashier job. Nothing wrong with that but it won't make them able to incest and profit enough to buy 2 300.000 usd properties no matter what they do with the money.

The thing about most criminals is that they have an inflated sense of ego due to knowing they really don’t have any weight in the real world. A lot of them over compensate by telling themselves they have more control more than they do.

It sounds messed up, but I strongly follow the belief, "Know your place", cuz if you get confused about your place or lie to yourself, about your place. There will be someone more than happy to correct you. It doesn't mean always follow or be a slave to others. If that's your place. Take it, but you have to know it's yours, your place.

In Alabama the inmates DO run almost everything. Bama has turned into nightmare fuel. 1700 inmates with 3-4 COs on the whole compound on any given shift. It's uncontrolled chaos. Over 300 inmate deaths in 2023 alone. California is controlled chaos. Politics are key out west. Indiana is weak ASF. I live in Indiana now, and can confirm...it's pie 🥧

The being forced to fight your friend or brother is a powerful tool. When i went through basic training in the army years ago, for the whole training class I had a friend i looked out for. He was probably the slowest of the whole class and it seemed like he didnt belong because of his type of slowness. Like he fell through the cracks and medical check. Most everyone just messed with him but on downtime i made friends with him.. during the last part of training i pissed off drill SgT for something, and he had him and me put on the combatives gear and fight till he said stop in the rock pit while everyone in the platoon stopd in a circle around us so i couldnt fake it. I kept saying sorry man every time i swung at him, when we were at the DFAC chow i still remember his face puffed up with his eyes and the blood down his nose. That is a very effective tool to do something, made me so angry at the time, i dont know what but they use it for a reason..

Stay upon the straight and narrow For Cupid has a jailhouse arrow Sure it's pointed at your heart But it hits you where you fart I love these prison videos because one minute somebody's telling you how you behave and deport yourself is all that matters you'll be fine just don't find anybody's business or do this or that. In the next video someone gets screwed all all he was doing was nothing happened to be standing there when someone decided it was time to have some cheeks.

Hey dude, have you reacted to blood in blood out? If I am not mistaken, it was filmed inside san Quentin and Danny Trejo play a gang member, and again, if not mistaken, he dud a stretch in there. Dubs does a great job of talking about the CDC, and gets into the politics as much he can without saying too much. His last bid was almost a quarter century and he's been to the craziest prisons in California, he was part of the Pelican Bay riot in 2000, dude has seen some shit in his life. He's trying to do the same thing as you by showing a glimpse into the real and brutal side of prison to hopefully keep some people from going down the same path. You guys seem like total opposites in personality but I think you'd get along, and since you both have essentially the same message from different perspectives I think it'd be a good collaboration.

Prison is basically like high school/middle school when your in the ghetto, here in south Florida it was like that in 2004-2009 , in the lunch cafeteria it was Mexicans and Mexican Americans had their own table, blacks had theirs, whites had theirs , and we had our own spot around a vending machine and a oak tree, we weren’t racist but we stuck to our own , it’s politics and ignorance lol,

Bro, I did time in Texas. I grew up in the Latin King's, and halfway in my sentence, I joined the Mexican Mafia. I didn't like it, saw a lot of things I didn't agree with. The hardest thing was dealing with people who I was friends with, accumilate debt with the organization and I was sent to collect. Another one was being told I couldn't talk to certain people because they were the wrong color, even though I was friends and was even close with them. I never got violations but I felt like I was walking on egg-shells the entire time, even though I can have whatever I wanted because I put in the work. Being in a gang, especially in a huge one like I was, a person on the outside looking in, would probably think it was badass when in reality, I was never at peace and I was always nervous when we had "church." I climbed up pretty quick in the ranks and was even in charge of 4 units in the prison. I think the thing that saved me, was the fact that I was close with a couple of high ranking members and the fact that Jesus was with me the entire time. I got a few stories for sure.

After a while I was able to actually unite the races and we turned against the guards. we ended up getting some laws changed and better food, got a few guys released that were wrongfully convicted too. I got let out a few years back due to a deal I made with the Warden and everything went back to segregation but at least while I was there it was actually pretty chill.
