The V10f's extra weight due to more batteries and bigger motor must neutralise the increase in power over the V10 making it slightly slower than the V10. I'm more interested in the range test...as I've said my V10 is only giving me 12 to 15 miles depending on how hilly the route i'm taking is. Will be watching your test with interest as I'm looking at purchasing the V10f early next year...absolutely love the build quality of Inmotion as your accident demonstrated!...hope you are okay Ian!!....

Hey mate, ive been looking at the v10 etc for a while. Currently have the v8. I was intrigued at your range feedback for your v10. I get around 13 to 16 miles on my V8 depending on speed and hills etc But when you said your only getting 12 to 15 on the v10 im not sure its worth the upgrade hmmmm. Thanks for the feedback mate.

@@NonStopNeal Hi..I weigh in at 18 stone so I'm right on it's maximum limit...so that's why it's range is so limited with regards myself. I was hoping to get at least 25 to 30 miles out of it so I'm pretty disappointed..so I'm pretty interested to see how Ian does in the range test with the V10f. If you weigh in between 10 and 13 stone I would say upgrade from the V8 otherwise I'm not sure I would bother..

The V10 and V10F have the same number of batteries (80 cells), just with different capacities. So both wheels weigh the same. Also that gives them the same power here: the battery can push out far more power than needed for this kind of riding, so any small motor differences wouldn't do anything. The 10 second difference is just due to Ian's different riding, which can easily happen for a 9 minute ride on such a complicated track.

@@meepmeep2903 You learn something new every day!...I read somewhere that the V10f uses LG Lithium batteries in relation to the V10 which has Samsung Lithium..the former being a better quality battery...is that true?...I knew the speed for both was the same but at the time of buying I was wondering if it was worth paying an extra £300 for a possible extra 10miles range and with my weight(I'm not obese I have a quite muscular body on a 6ft 6inch frame) ile probably be lucky to get 4 miles extra. If something comes out in the meantime which has good range for somebody as heavy as myself Ile be very interested. The V10 is a great ride and ime loving it more and more and the looks and remarks off of people as you whizz passed them is priceless!...😁.

5:27 Ian was gonna type before that crash, just a little head up but take it with a grain of salt. You should conduct speed tests with the slightest decline (or downhill run), preferably a nice smooth pathway or road. Granted the V10f weighs a little more. However, you can still benchmark the maxium performance from the unit that way - negating 3 outta 6 of the imfamous retricting factors (incline, rough/off-road terrain, amp cliff/powerdraw) ect. Regardless of the top speed; if you're going fairly fast, the alarm will trigger earlier, as the Euc will pull more current, with the conditions you're riding at. I am unsure, can't recall the exact video but once you and John (think his name was) done a similar tests in the Forest of Dean. It was a 0 - top speed sprint, either last year or before that. Btw, you rolled-out like a champ, as always. 💪 Lol Bravo! 👏👏👏

What is the lifespan of the battery ? Someone told me that you only get about 4y out a battery ! ? ? !🎉 A lot of money for 4y use ! As replacing the battery is also very expensive.

I don't think so, it stops balancing when I connect the charger and I can't get it to start balancing unless I unplug the charger from it. If you're planning a backpack battery mod, you'd probably also need to solder an extra connector on there.

Dont test max speed in the videos. Speedsters are the curse on the fledgling EUC world - second to that I wont be risking myself anytime soon seeing where the machine cuts off. Manufacturers specs are on our site (in the included link in / on the video. They state it...but thats just what they say and not usually highly accurate so not really giving a real answer in all likelihood

As I understand it wearing a full helmet makes it hard to hear warnings so loud is probably necessary is this case.

2 Things - 1. Correct Helmet does make it very hard to hear (its almost to quiet in this case, kind of needs a 'helmet mode'). 2. Dont travel at the speed where the alarm is going off - its going off to tell you to slow down otherwise you are going to hurt yourself when it all goes south.....and this video was a perfect example of that very thing happening! :)
