New rider here and loving it. But I came from a Segway i2 so I was destined to learn this. I just wish that I had a nice safe space to ride for hours in NYC. Unfortunately our best bike trail erected signs against unauthorized motorized vehicles. Of course I still see folks out there with PEVs but it’s uncomfortable knowing there are clear signs so we could get fined.

cool video! i also own one of these. though its made by gotway, the msuper X its called. thats like the tank, more battery version of yours. and up to 60kph. though not as stylish :P nonetheless its great. i use it around town. when filming with my gimbal for extra smoothness. and all kinds of fun riding great to see more people pick up the hobby. :)

I’ve tried EUCs, but nothing feels like my OneWheel XR. The skating position I’ve come to love from board sports is more important to me than what the EUC form offers. I also like tricks, they’re a lot of fun.

You can actually do tricks on a EUC. Plus they are faster, have longer range, and are more powerful than the One Wheel!

It took me about 50 miles of riding an EUC before it "clicked" for me. Before then, I would have agreed with you but now I believe they both have the same approximate levels of fun with the EUC winning more points the more I ride it. I'm a snowboarder and I prefer the stance and carving on the OW but the EUC wins at just about everything else - range, agility, speed, portability, comfort, etc...

You lean back to effectively apply the brakes. In reality by leaning back, you are instructing the motor to go the other direction so in order to do that, the motor must stop spinning in its current direction so that it can then start spinning in the other direction. The trick is just as the forward direction ceases, you stand up straight.

I own a OneWheel XR and an EUC with hundreds of miles of riding between both. I can tell you that EUC will usually better the OW on trails, curbs and even take trails that the OW would fail miserably on. I like them both but I laugh when OW riders suggest the OneWheel is the superior vehicle.
