They couldn't really increase the battery without changing the whole design of the shell. I think the small improvements are good for what it's going to be used for. If you really want to go off road, you'll get the V14. Comfortable commuter with light of road capabilities V11y

​@senseivegan i've had the v11 for 3 years, love it, but all these upgrades are MUCH needed. Not sure I like the lower pedals though.. I mainly want a bit more speed and more security in terms of redundancy/not cutting out if overpowering it

Keep the 84V 1500WH so they can keep it affordable continued competition to the S16. Although with the increased max speed that says 100V to me.

@@WeiFinder Yes I'm all for the upgrades. If the price is right this will be my next commute wheel. I'm mainly a street rider most of the time so I'm okay with the lower pedals but for the riders who ride trails. I understand their concerns. If the price is over 2K I just buy a Mini or Extreme.

I had a V11 and it was a great wheel, if they increase the power and torque it will be kick ass! So long as they use 50S cells with the raptor controller, you could get a lot of power but it would cost you endurance. On the other hand, it’s about 20lbs lighter than the current crop of 16” wheels. I think it will be a terrific wheel for the money.

The V11Y is a stop-gap measure until the V14 Adventure can be scaled to both smaller and larger size wheels.} 84V Battery Voltage and 20S2P configuration will likely be the same; Cell type will likely be 50S (for extra current draw and charging capacity). Weight change is likely the 2 additional shock struts (now 6) and a few more ounces for the Raptor controller. These are reasonable upgrades to keep this wheel competitive with the KS-16/19 series but both of these lines should be discontinued once Inmotion brings out the 14" and 20" versions of the V14 (hopefully this winter, although I have NOT heard rumors). The V11Y is a reasonable way to keep the V11 relevant but only up until it can be replaced with dual-suspension V14-style designs. The V11 @ $1.2k and the V11Y @ $1600 would be competitive but just barely. A $1990 price-point would be unfortunate as most of the market will be dazzled by the light & sounds of the s16/19 without comprehending the planned-obsolesence of the roller-slider design flaw. A strategically superior marketing strategy would be to offer the V11Y at $2k with lifetime exchange coupon of $1k towards any future wheels. This cuts customer acquisition costs by 90% and immediately forces a price war while the intent is to up-sell on quality by delaying profits but ensuring that losses hurt the competition more (depending on financial metrics). All EUC companies have very poor marketing tactics and strategies, which has harmed profits considerably and delayed the organic growth of the sport from the trajectory of surpassing both e-scooter and e-bike markets; this is something I don't see changing until one of these companies goes bankrupt or is purchased in a take-under, which no one wants.

How do you set your v11 to let you go 37?

There was a firmware update awhile back. The update helped increase the top speed by a few mph. My buddy was able to hit 37 mph but it would push back hard so I would not recommend it You could cut the wheel out.

I've been really tempted to buy the V11 ($1,700) since it's on sale right now, but maybe I should get the V11Y ($2,400) for my first EUC. What is your suggestion for a beginner wheel that will transition well, for novice - advanced? I was also looking at the Veteran Patton.

I like the V11Y and I think the V11Y would make a Fantastic first wheel. I see the V11 & V11Y as a light trail and comfortable street wheel.

Don't know if I should go all in with the V14 Adventure. It is a substantial amount of 💰 money @ $3,400 +. Or would I be ok with the V11Y or the V11... It's a huge investment to make for a beginner. 🤷 and wheel that would last me years.

I want to demo the V11Y and see how it stacks up against the original V11. I'm not a Speed Demon so both wheels would be ok for my riding style.

I got a V11 on eBay from a reputable seller. He was selling it for $1,800 and had the "make an offer" option. I offered him $1,200, and he accepted the offer and sent a brand new EUC V11. What I am saying is this... these manufacturers want 3-4k, but deep down, KNOW damn well the average consumer doesn't want to spend that kind of cash. If the option is available, LOW BALL the FK out of them.

I love my v11 (2nd build). I use mine off-roading, so too bad on the wheel height. Even at the original height you clip at times. I want to see a bigger wheel v14.

I hope for a new version, upgrade, of the V10f. I don't care much for speed as the legal max speed here in Belgium is 25kph (and they started to do a lot of police checks since a few months ago). I look for a min. 2000W with good battery, good range, good for newbie, not to have to change anything or add much on the stock version as it is already expensive enough.

Bob took a lateral move into Production Planning, which was necessary for the V14 rollout. My speculation is that Bob was able to convince the Board Members to pay a portion of his salary in future stock-options based on realized sales over the next 2 years... this way, his incentives are in alignment with increasing the companies valuation. We may see Bob be CEO again in a few years.

I put these protectors on the bottom on my old v11 and they clip kerbs so had to remove them.. Gonna go with a wheel with more exposed tyre... They ain't fixed what I was looking for... Was also looking for more range... Lazy upgrade in my opinion

That would be great. My wife has a V10F it's a nice wheel. Manufacturers have to realize every rider doesn't want a 100 pound wheel that goes 50 mph.

This seems like a direct competitor to the King Song 16X or S19. I knew the time would come, when Begode would face challenges that could rival their complete inventory. Is there any truth to the rumor, that King Song has a high performance EUC in development? Hopefully, there will be a complete review of the EUC manufacturers inventories, because Begode’s lead in the industry seems to be eroding. I will keep an eye on these innovations. Thanks

I Love Begode but they're pumping out new wheels at break neck speed. They are making their own wheels obsolete before working out all of the bugs.

Come on, there is no real leader. Im a begode fan now but they only "lead" because they put out a new wheel every other day. Buy your wheels on black friday, save thousands. Thats all that matters in the EUC market. (And I think Inmotion was or has been the top seller for a while). The V8/V10 series sells like crack

In Begode's defense, the improvements to the T4 have been timely and appropriate. This indicates that they believe that the T4 will be relevant for years to come. I haven't heard of a KingSong Skunkworks wheel and there's little to indicate that they are serious about designing anything other than toys. Their pattern of behaviors has been consistent in seeking short-term gains while self-sabotaging long-term viability. {This is likely due to the over-hyped e-scooter rental market that has since failed miserably.}

@@grb1969 MSX, MSP, Nikola and RS19 were some of the most popular wheels when I started riding a few years ago. None of these wheels are in production anymore and the sad part is I can add more wheels from Begode to this list. I like Begode wheels but over product is not good. Thanks for watching.

100v seems likely with the new board, and thats a sweet spot for performance and range/battery life.

84V is better than 100V (at the same power capacity) because it will have a greater range without an increase in top speed. If anyone wants to ride much faster than 30mph, then an upgrade to the V14 would be the better choice. 100V (at the same power capacity) would mean a greater chance of cut-out and voltage sag issues, and since the battery casings are molded, a significant change in the battery packs is highly unlikely. 84V is totally sufficient and I wouldn't change it until the 14" V14 gets released, which is when IM should discontinue this model, hopefully in a year or two. {imho}
