This video is my personal blessing for today! It addresses an issue that is often overlooked.

Thanks as ever for your work. I tried a version of this exercise just now, focussing on an image on a wall perhaps fifteen feet away. Seated. The first two were unproblematic, focus was unfazed. The third (left-hi / right-low diagonal) was suddenly kind of awful.

I'm really hoping for 'hope' that these issues I am having can be helped with this training. My ENT consultant just left me with "oh it will go away eventually" and prescribed meds. As long as the MRI was clear that was it for him. I'm on my own journey to find answers for myself. I know my eyes/vision are playing a major role in my issues. Eye strain, dry eyes and uvititis all in the last 3 years. Now I have tinnitus and weird wobbly sensations, spaced out and sometimes walking on trampoline feelings. It's making life tougher, driving is ok until I get out of car then it triggers the trampoline walk. Being a passenger in a car is now hard work, just to quell nausea. I'm so anxious about it which makes me worse. Doctor says it s anxiety here's some diaziapan for you. So it's no good as I can't function at all. Please tell me this works.

Thank you for this exercise. Can you do it more than three times at a time or is this a case when less is more. Many thanks for posting this!!!!

Yes you can! You just need to remember that it can be a bit draining so make sure you are paying attention to your energy levels.

what if when you turn your head in a particular direction you see some double vision?
@ZHealthPerformance2 жыл бұрын
There are a variety of possibilities but this does sometimes happen with visual and vestibular integration problems. We would recommend that you have some evaluate your specific case in order to provide you with the best available approach. Good luck!

I wear glasses. Should I do this with or without glasses? Thank you.

The answer to your question is both. Glasses on and off. If you're using bifocals, take them off.

It’s eye training better with or without contacts/glasses?
@ZHealthPerformance2 жыл бұрын
Great question and the answer varies a bit. One key idea is that if any visual target is too blurry the brain will eventually stop paying attention or even trying to focus on it. So, in those cases we usually begin training with lenses and then gradually wean off of them. We also recommend that you "train how you live" in most cases so if you are constantly lensed then at least 50% of your vision training should be in glasses/contacts. Thank you!
