Thank you Hope. You walked thru each product and I love that when you emulsified a small amount of each product, that it worked so well. I’m excited and will be ordering the trial sizes of quite a bit.

LOVE your curls, beauty! I've been using Innersense for a few months now and adore it but aren't convinced I'm nailing the application technique. I'd love to see your step-by-step washday tutorial. Keep up the great videos!

My hair would probably look like yours if I grew it out. I’m really loving a combo of I create volume lotion, I create lift foam, and the I create waves sea salt spray at the roots and a few sprays all over! I also spray with a hairspray for a little more hold before I diffuse, it also helps dry faster! I don’t use their shampoos and conditioners because they aren’t cleansing enough for my hair. I loved this review!
@hopeunfinished84624 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried the sea salt spray! I know what you mean about the shampoo. I use a different brand about once a month when I feel my hair needs a deeper cleanse.

Your hair looks amazing!! I just started with innersense, so trying to figure it out. Will try your emulsifying tip. Thanks!

Great review! Bounce curl cream is like that, pea size emulsified into damp/dry hands but applied to wet/saturated hair seems to double-quadruple in quantity - LOVE!

I’m so glad it was helpful! Let me know how it goes! Don’t be discouraged if it takes a few washes for your hair to transition to using Innersense💜 Or, maybe I was just doing it all wrong in the beginning lol. Hopefully my growing pains with Innersense is a service to all those waves and curls out there😊 Now I am really curious how it turns out for you! Please share, I would love to know!!

It doesn’t surprise me at all the products you like more. You started with a low protein routine and then switched to their stylers with more protein. Your hair likes protein is my bet.

Thank you for this!! I'm having the same issues you mentioned! I bought the hairbath shampoo & conditioner, the I create hold gel & leave in. My results were ehhh, not that good.. Similar to the pics you showed of your hair. The gel isn't creating the type of cast I like (my favorite gel is the kinky curly gel), the hold isn't that great and my hair is feeling weighed down.my thoughts were maybe the products are too hydrating? After watching your review & seeing how great your curls look, I'm going to try your method out. The stylist that cut my hair did mention that I should use a lot of water with these products because they are so concentrated.

I have fine but curly hair but oily roots. I love the pure harmony shampoo so I don’t have an oily scalp anymore but my ends are just soooo dry. I switched from pure harmony conditioner to color awakening and it’s still sooo dry I’m like in tears lol everyone says hydrating cream conditioner is only for super thick coarse hair. UGH

Bc your white girl hair didn’t need the hydrating line. That’s for thicker coarser hair

I think I heard that you "reactivated" the products the next day with water (it might have been in another video). Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what did you mean by that? I have naturally curly hair that frizzes in an instant and I just have to look at moisture and it starts frizzing. But maybe with the products it won't do that. I just purchased the same products you used in your wash day video, so can't wait to try them out. Also, if I can ask, what type of natural curl do you have? Its beautiful. Mine is all over the place, some ringlets, some straight, some wavy. Hoping that I can get some sort of uniformity with the Innersense line.
@hopeunfinished84624 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes, I “refresh” with water and since the products are already in my hair i usually don’t add much to it. Sometimes I’ll add a little more product, but not much. Does that make sense? It doesn’t sound dumb at all and I’m still learning! I hope I explained it so it makes sense! I want to do a beginner video so all of the little things make a lot more sense to more people. I had the luxury of my best friend who is also my hair dresser, who also specializes in curly hair, who also has my hair type, but it was definitely a process with a huge learning curve. My hair sounds similar to yours. My hair is a mess of frizz, wave and curl but knowing what to do with it has made it into what I have now. Don’t give up if you don’t like the results at first!! It took about a month for me to really commit and start to see results and now it’s easy. My biggest advice as far as frizz - don’t brush you hair (I know it sounds crazy! I have a video coming out soon on the denman brush which is the only brush I use sparingly) and fight moisture with moisture. I live in a VERY rainy area and my hair will frizz super easily. If my hair is properly moisturized with a good combo of styling products, it prevents frizz. If I try to avoid moisture so my hair won’t frizz, it will be drawn to the moisture in the air, making the little hairs stick up and frizz like a magnet to the moisture in the air instead of enjoying the moisture I’ve already provided my hair! Hope this isn’t all over the place. You have motivated me to do a basics video sooner rather than later. I will put it on my list!!! Thanks for your great questions!
@dsheppard84924 жыл бұрын
@@hopeunfinished8462 Thank you for your quick response! Funny, I never brush my hair except before I wash it. I learned that a very long time ago (I think I'm a couple of decades older than you - haha). The fighting moisture with moisture, now that I never thought of! Great advice. Also wish I had a best friend who specializes in curly hair. Hard as I try to get my hairdresser(s) to understand over the years, they just never do. I'm still on the hunt for someone who gets it. Thanks again for your help.
@hopeunfinished84624 жыл бұрын
You are welcome! Don’t brush your hair before you shower either. It makes a difference😊💜 I brush my hair with my fingers in the shower after I put on conditioner. I’m actually editing the denman brush video right now and show how all that so I hope it helps!

Do you put foam on your roots?
@hopeunfinished84623 жыл бұрын
Hi! No, I do not put the foam on my roots. Just on the hair, including near the roots but not on the scalp itself. I hope that helps!

How do you get your cuts?
@hopeunfinished84624 жыл бұрын
Hi! My hairdresser specializes in curly hair and she cuts my hair while it is dry and curly. She cuts the curls individually to give it the shape that works best for my hair.

The gel wast good, upon application I cannot twist my hair it was rough not smooth to apply
@hopeunfinished84624 жыл бұрын
Hi! I had the same issue. You might want to check out my updated Innersense review. I no longer use the gel. I use the foam for a cast. My biggest recommendation with the gel (I’m sure it works well for others!) is to put a small amount in your hand and add water, then emulsify together. It thins and smooths it out so it is easier to apply evenly and you can control it better. For me, I have found the foam works better for my hair than the gel and I get better, consistent results.

@hopeunfinished84624 жыл бұрын
Hi! I think they are great for anyone! If you are a beginner with embracing your curls, I think your hair needs time to adjust no matter what products you start with. Starting with a natural, organic product like this is great for your hair. Good luck!

Sorry to hear! Dry curls are not fun! Are you using the gel? I stopped using the gel which really helped. The gel was drying my curls. I did an updated review and routine video without the gel. Good luck!💜
