@@hopeunfinished8462 still have a lot to learn. Ugh. 1st time it came out like a greasy tacky mess, today it’s spongy and frizzy, not as tacky. I find that neither the foam or the lotion give me a cast what so ever. Maybe I am not putting enough of the lotion. Idk. I know that my hair doesn’t like curl cream that much. So I literally put 1 inch line, lol, as squeezed on my hair. Still twerking it. Lolol. Tweaking it. I hope I didn’t throw my money down the drain. 🙏🏼

Try three, getting better at it. Needed to put more of the lotion. I may do well with the gel...I will add that next week to see what it does.

I used the innersense quite calm gel, and I experienced just what you said it just sat on my hair and after when it dried, it felt like I had residue and film left on top of my hair. I really didn't use that much of it. I have thin, curly/wavy hair, but alot of it. I will give it alittle bit more of a chance and try spraying water with the gel so when it distributes throughout my hair/combing , it's not so thick and concentrated. Thank you for the video and advice!

Love your curls!! Do you comb your hair in the shower? & If so with what?

Thank you! I only “comb” my hair with my fingers and only in the shower. I’ve tried using the denman brush in the shower but only use it sparingly. How much of each product do you use? I have nearly the same length hair and texture

That’s a great question! I had to play around with it before finding what works. I would say start with a dime size and emulsify, adding a little water if needed to make the product emulsify easier and it stretches the product out since it’s SO concentrated, then apply in sections. I use a small amount but several times with all my hair (you can probably understand since it sounds like you have similar hair!). You will know if you didn’t use enough if your hair is frizzy and dry looking when it is completely dry. You will know you used too much if your hair is weighted down, heavy looking. Does that help?
