Every few weeks I come back to this page and listen to this song. Julian absolutely smashed it out of the park here. That absolutely perfect homage to the Joy Division/New Order/The Cult sound is mind blowing. This may be the most perfect recreation of the time, place, and feel of the year's 1980-1984. That the Brothers Duplass saw J-$'s genius, gave him the room to operate, and found the absolutely perfect cinematic backdrop to allow him to paint over is awe-inspiring. I'm crying for her. I'm crying with her. I'm crying for me. I'm just crying.

This song was PERFECT for this episode - it’s like a deeper (older) voice is guiding the higher (younger) voice, which is basically the episode.The way they both dance in front of the mirror is what solidified they are the same person.

I just started watching Room 104. I thought for sure I knew this song because it has such a familiar and nostalgic sound. I thought it was Echo and the Bunnymen. I can't believe it was never released! HBO needs to make a Room 104 soundtrack.

Innocence and Experience are two very different concepts, and we all pass through them in our lives. Innocence is basically childhood and experience is becoming an adult and experiencing what the real world is like. Something tells me there’s something else after experience, but I don’t know what it’s called.
