Time and time again we here many innocent on Death Row. Pray the innocence seek justice if not in this world then InshaAllah in the afterlife

I don't think Williams should have been executed, but there is ample evidence that points in the direction of actual guilt. Allah(swt) knows best.

Yeah me too...I love the sheikh, but he is out of his mind calling Williams innocent...Williams has a robust criminal history, including 15 felony convictions in addition to offenses related to Ms. Gayle's murder: robbery (2), armed criminal action (2), assault (2), burglary (4), stealing (3), stealing a motor vehicle, and unlawful use of a weapon, which is all consistent with entering the home, attacking Ms. Gayle, and taking her items...He had just started serving a 20-year sentence for robbing a doughnut shop when he was charged with Picus’s killing...and his inmate Cole was already been out of prison when he declared the hearing of the admission of Williams...and another point...the girlfriend of Williams knew facts, that were not publicly available (even though the innocent project contested this)....Gayle’s personal items were found in the trunk of Williams’ grandfathers car, this information was also givin by his girlfriend...and the last one...even in prison he attacked other inmates and threatened correctional officers...so where exactly is he innocent...what would his punishment be in an islamic view? that would be interesting to answer from the sheikh in my humble opinion :)

@abdelhakyac7285 just because the innocence project takes on a case doesn't mean their clients are innocent. For instance, scott peterson(someone who's guilt is almoat certain)is a client of the IP.

@@abdelhakyac7285No of course not...maybe there were big Problems with this case...but it wouldn't change my case...he was a criminal...and a really bad one as well...he was in jail already and guilty for 20 years, so what does this title mean ,, innocent man"? What would the punishment be in an Islamic state, even without the last case? Brother don't be blind...this guy wasn't innocent...read my first comment...every single crime is listed...so what would be the punishment in an Islamic state?

The comments on the channel are disappointing the evidence completely pointed to his innocence , the victims family and prosecutors called for execution to stop, the murder weapon did not have his DNA, the rat was not reliable at all according to his own family he did it for money
@jeffdaniel4611
@jeffdaniel4611 Ай бұрын
I don't think he should have been executed due to the victims family wanting him spared and lack of DNA evidence. All I'm saying is that there is another side to the story that people aren't talking about. To say he was convicted without evidence is juat not true

@@jeffdaniel4611 the US judicial system is supposed to be even if there is REASONABLE DOUBT they are not to be convicted let alone executed , with that being said without a shadow of a doubt there is more than enough reasonable doubt , also even if you think things point to him way more factors point towards his innocence
@jeffdaniel4611
@jeffdaniel4611 Ай бұрын
@shakebackent.1070 Again, I do not believe he should have been executed, but the only thing that can be used to support his claims of innocence is the lack of DNA evidence. Everything else (vics property in his car, the testimony of 2 different people, the testimony of another man who bought the victims stolen laptop from Williams, williams' extensive history of assaults, robberies, etc.

@@shakebackent.1070brother a guy with 15 felonies and a 20 years conviction in jail even before this case is not innocent in any shape or form...and what rat are you talking about? His girlfriend? With her statement the police found stuff from the victim in Williams car...or do you mean the guy who bought the laptop of the victim from Williams? Or do you mean the inmate who already was out of jail, when he talked about the jailhouse conviction of Williams? I mean maybe there were problems with all of these people, but calling this guy innocent is absolutely incorrect...what would be the punishment for him in an Islamic state, even without the murder case just the 15 felonies before? Or are all these cases before a conspiracy as well?

@@timbrammen6383 your trying to compare two situations that have nothing to do with each other, first of all you don’t know how sharia law works. Second I’m not talking about prior convictions I’m talking about this , third look into a case and stop being bigoted and one sided

We cannot claim that he was totally innocent. Allāh knows best. There is sufficient evidence suggesting he committed the crime. However, the death penalty was a little excessive. He was a Muslim brother, so we make dua'a for his forgiveness. Allāh have mercy on him and elevate his rank in Jannah!

Brother i am honest with you...what would be the punishment in islam for all his crimes he did in the past? Even without the murder...15 felony convictions, robbery, armed criminal actions, assault, burglary, stealing, unlawful weapon use...what would be the judgment under the islamic law? there is nothing close to beeing innocent here.

@@timbrammen6383 brother i think you will find most Muslims under shariah law and most non muslims wouldn't even be alive or free, most people including Muslims commit crimes that would be punishable under shar'i law and they would either get a hadd punishment or ta'zeer punishment, but because we are in a non-muslim land under non-muslim rules we expect non-muslims to atleast be consistent in their own justice system.
