She was right, yet you still give your customers respect regardless of how undeserved this may be. I have always been horrified by the "customer is always right" diatribe. I personally believe that customer service of any kind is under paid and under acknowledged. I was a casino card dealer for a very long time and just got so burnt out by customer rudeness and demands. Personally we should be giving courses on diplomacy to the UN and politicians. The service industry is broken and true change can only come about when all of us finally take a stand and demand better wages and an overhaul of the present business practices that undermine us as employees and give us absolutely no power over our immediate future. That being said, I commend you for your ethics and morals which I truly believe your mother would be proud of.

@Miss Hard Stan generally, you can record in a privately owned business that is open to the public but if you are asked to stop, you have to comply or you will be asked to leave. If you don't, you can be charged with trespassing and permanently banned from the premesis.

That woman that said it’s a public place that was funny 😄. It’s not a public place, it’s private property cause it’s owned by CVS not the public. People have become idiots and not knowing where the public property line cuts off
@AnotherLifeish6 жыл бұрын
Legally speaking, a "public place," is ANY area into which the general public is invited into. CVS has invited the public to shop there, so it is a public place-- just like any park or government building. Your house is "private property," because you aren't making the space available to anyone that you don't specifically allow in. A quick google will verify this. It can be a confusing topic so I'm not judging you at all for misunderstanding, but in the future I'd definitely verify that I'm right before calling people idiots if I were you. I hope that you remember this the next time you want to mock others for their ignorance instead of politely educating them.

Amy Scott actually it’s a building owned by a company and it’s still private property and has the right to not allow a someone to enter that building. It’s called the *right to refuse service* a business can legally trespass someone from a property cause it’s called a private property. You can’t trespass someone from private property. They allow people to shop at that building yes but they don’t have to allow a person back if they don’t want that person back to the property.
@lordsmobilefun7946 жыл бұрын
Amy Scott I just googled it up and a business is still considered private property. *Property Owners' Rights. Private property is any property owned by private persons and not by the government or reserved for public use. ... A store, for example, is private property. Offering merchandise for sale implies an invitation to enter, but the store owner is entitled to ban someone from coming in.Jun 26, 2018* Thats what I found on google
@lordsmobilefun7946 жыл бұрын
Amy Scott also you state that a park is public property and yes it is. But my city has a county property sign on our city park saying- park is closed to visitors after 10pm till 7am violators will be Changed with trespassing.

I have to agree. Out of all of the cultures I've been exposed to. I was born and raised in America, we are definitely the angriest... I personally believe its the fact that nobody knows how to raise their children. They want to be their kids friend so bad they don't raise them.... Then of course opioid addiction and alcoholism don't help.... Sometimes I regret leaving the house and seeing/hearing these people. Hate to say it but I feel kind of like I have to shower after I'm around them. Don't get me wrong though, the other 5% of the population is decent. They contribute to society and are overall nice, but we do get tired of following the 95% around with a shovel picking up after them.

#3 made me a bit nauseas how he kept aiming his phone, but that angry woman was just making things worse and worse about blaming the cashier. I’ve worked in retail even in high end department stores and right before closing, someone (or more) want to shop and they take their time, saying they’re a customer and they spend a lot of money at that store and expect to be treated like Royalty! And sometimes these customers make it difficult to even ring up their items, they have a coupon for this or that, or ten coupons and it says, one coupon per sale, and ask the dumbest questions if we do wrapping and get mad because we don’t wrap presents (most department stores stopped wrapping presents over 20 years ago! It’s not even worth working in retail ever again, it ages you fast! Lol
@rocketraccoon19766 жыл бұрын
If I was a store manager or owner, I'd tell my staff that if any customer goes off on them like that, then don't bother arguing anymore. Just refuse the purchase and tell the customer they can no longer shop at my store anymore, they're banned from the property. Then ask them to leave , and if they don't, call the cops on them for trespassing. I don't need or want customers like that in my store, bothering my staff & other customers.

Its always your fault, everything, always! And you get payed very, very low! In Austria (Europe), at least we have no nightshift. Most shops closes at 7-8 pm, except fastfood shops, or gas stations. @lcyurchuk9 ай бұрын
Um, maybe because it's not their place? People could get hurt if they were to attempt to intervene or even escalate the situation and you never know if the person causing the scene could be armed. Situations like these are best left to the proper authorities.

Also, if the people causing the scene are apprehended by authorities, these videos could be used as evidence against them, thus, justice can be served.
