Innorel RM285C/RM325C Carbon Fibre Monopod: Quick Look

I recently picked up an Innorel RM285C monopod, in this video I give a quick tour of it and discuss some of my thoughts using it and the design.
Innorel do a range of monopods the RM285C and RM325C are two sizes of Carbon Fibre, they also do the same models in Aluminium RM285A and RM325A, sizes and tube dimensions are the same, but the Carbon ones are lighter, with the Aluminium models being a bit cheaper. 5 sections are a reasonable trade-off between size and stability.
Overall a solid offering here, I wanted a reasonable cost monopod without compromising quality too much, and this seems to fit the bill. If I have any thoughts using this long term, I will update the review if needed.

Thank you for this review! I also have the same Monopod and will be using it vor Iphone14Pro video recordings. First tried it together with a DJI Osmo 6 but was not content about the smoothness of the tilt. Now will try to find a simple video head for this Monopod. Your video helped to discover how to reverse the mount thread. The Monopod came without a manual.

@@HansMeulenbroek If there's a smoothness issue, that's down to the head not monopod (it's just a stuck after all), so I'd suggest to get a better head for video the super cheap ones are rarely any good. The monopod is perfectly fine for what it is overall.
