I thought I was alone in noticing my D90 overexposed by 1-stop and was overly warm, that being said I run a 1/4 Black Pro Mist now and it makes for excellent film simulation with minimal specialty editing

It can sometimes, that said I didn't find the metering bad. I'd suggest ADL set to Auto (which I use on all Nikon cameras even in RAW), that tames/adjusts exposure in difficult situations. I don't have to make many adjustments with that enabled. The metering is more consistent then the D7000, that used to really go nuts at times! Way worse then the D90.

This P30i torch has the same beam pattern of my Olight SR-90 Intimidator - which I acquired in year 2011. To generate the same 2,000 lumens flux, the SR90 required three times the energy used by the P30i, and generated three times the heat. This was the reason why the SR90 was so unbelievably massive. It is incredible how few years of technology advance have consigned the SR90 to the thrash heap of history. Regarding the proprietary, dual-sleeve Nitecore batteries. Other flashlight brands (Acebeam and few Fenix) have introduced flashlights with a two-layers tube, to allow tailcap functionalities and other advantages. Nitecore has preferred to have that second layer in the battery, and not in the flashlight. The only advantage over the dual-layer battery tube, is the reduction of the electrical resistance of the tube and the tailcap connection. Their "i" series flashlights have the highest efficiency of all others on the market. Since we are talking of a 5% increase, it is not always appreciated with the naked eye. Nitecore also knew that proprietary batteries do put off many users (they buy Fenix), but the cream of the top "i" series is meant for professional and institutional users.

Interesting conclusion. I don’t disagree, the Z6 II for me is still much more reliable than the Z6 was. In fact, it was a much more pleasant experience. That being said; having swapped a Z6 for a Z8 and kept my Z6 II as a B cam, the Z6 II certainly feels a lot more dated now, it’s a shame they weren’t able to capitalise more on the dual processors for the AF. The Z6 III looks interesting but given I was able to pick up a Z8 for only marginally more during the summer it was a no brainier.
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 4 күн бұрын
Yes the Z8 is a larger and much more expensive camera so perhaps it's expected to be better in many areas. The Z6 II is crazy cheap these days even new, for what's on offer it's still quite appealing. The Z6 III well that's a topic on it's own, but massive price difference makes it a no go for me, like you said the Z8 is a better buy for only a bit more. I'm surprised Nikon put the price up that much. They probably could get more out of the Z6 II, they've added some useful features to the camera, yet the EVF alone was much nicer to use and the other stuff is a bonus.
@HamerReviews
@HamerReviews 3 күн бұрын
@@MrBazReviewsyeah I was firmly a Z6 III buyer until the cost was over the £2500 max I set myself. Just couldn’t justify it. But I could justify the Z8 as it does offer significantly more than the Z6 II and Z6 III. I‘ll pick up a used Z6 III when the prices drop but for now the Z6 II will do a good job
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 2 күн бұрын
@@HamerReviews Only thing is some don't like is the larger DSLR sized body on the Z8, perhaps we'll get something Z7 based too. I lost interest in the Z6 III very quickly, it just has features I don't need or want, and the price increase was dramatic. I did try a Zf, and that's a bit weird in handling (lot of used ones around too seems some can't get on with it), plus having cards in the battery compartment is a royal pain.

I was planning on getting a Canon EOS 1V...but thanks to your videos I'm now leaning towards a Minolta Alpha 9...awesome film camera and those AF series lenses are readily available and insanely cheap here in Germany. Even the upper end, like the 85 f/1.4, you're paying 300-500 Euros, which is not bad if you compare it to modern lenses of the same quality.
@MrBazReviews
@MrBazReviews 4 күн бұрын
The 9's a nice body very rugged and excellent viewfinder. There ae a lot of decent lenses out there for A mount, plenty of them are cheap too. I did a video on top picks, this one I quite like it's tiny, and pretty sharp too yet still F4. Looking at modern lenses F6.3 and covering a shorter range tele end! Things are going backwards!

@@MrBazReviews Watched your top-picks video twice already, found every single lens at a great price here in Germany or on ebay japan. @@simonjonasmusic8410 I've seen some examples of the 9 grip cracking or falling off, not sure why that is. The film 7 doesn't have this problem, and is in many ways a more advanced camera (features wise/AF etc), but it's plastic body and that has a soft touch exterior that also gets sticky. SKYRC chargers are very good, but not better. The Opus chargers which I’ve been using since 2009, have never failed and are unsurpassed performance-wise, are proven reliable for many years of hard continuous use, often going for days on end… and for far less money than the SKYRC chargers. The only issue for me, is the Opus Chargers don’t charge/analyze the larger 21700 cells. It’s my hope that Opus will produce a charger just like their BT-C3100 & C3200 chargers, which are compatible with button-top protected 21700 cells. Best wishes, George

A few people said something similar (a few from Dyxum who don't want to accept it might be real), yet every single item bodies and lenses fall into a year date range that they could have been made, in other words nothing shows a date before it should have been made. In addition with the KM takeover, and branded items with the Konica Minolta badge, that also ties up date wise. I feel fairly confident it's useful. Only Minolta knew how long bodies/lenses were being manufactured, still there is some logic here.

I use it as the main charger, I have not had any issues so far with it. The only downside is cost and if you charge protected 20/21700 cells.

Thanks took a while to make but I often find it frustrating with videos that don't show the bag in detail. Hopefully it helped, I'm still using it and overall very pleased with it.

I just saw a review for the mix7 gen 2 and i remembered i have this EC300. The RGB is not very bright on this. The mix7 is much brighter rgb. Although i think Skilhunt is over priced. $85 for the mix7 on AE.

Not used those ones and it's not likely I will review them either. The RGB here is more for close up use not like a hunting model. Honestly the cost of all products has shot up quite a bit, and there is an over emphasis on gimmicks in the industry for items like this. Honestly I'm a bit bored of what's coming out so I've taken a break from reviews on them, I might do a few in the future maybe, but I find myself not that interested. Over emphasis on features most won't use and I'm more into the overall experience UI and feel, handling/design not just lumens and gimmicky stuff.

Hello my friend. My opinion about PD32R, the design includes knurling on the body, I like it.And it uses a double spring in the driver and tail cap.It's good that this lamp spring is added with a dual spring.What I am not satisfied with this PD32R is the light output. This lamp should have a turbo output of at least 2000 lumens.Meanwhile, I like if this PD32R has a 0.5 lumen or 1 lumen firefly mode.At the same time, I prefer if this lamp has 5 steps of light output.Examples are firefly 1 lumen-low 100 lumen-medium 350 lumen-High 800 lumen and Turbo 2000 lumen or at least turbo output 1800 lumen.In my opinion, if the stamping of light output production that I explained earlier, the possibility of stamping from low output to turbo output can be said to be almost balanced.It's good that this lamp is also added with 2 more special moods besides strobe, which are beacon and sos mode.Another comment I have about this PD32R is, I would love and be happy if this flashlight has 2 switches like other models. Tactical switch and side switch.One of the things I like about this lamp is, it uses Lumminus SFT-40 aimed at throwing light further.To be honest, I really like the design and the charger cover.The design, if I look at the whole, can be said to be perfect and cohesive.I am writing this comment to express my views on the PD32R.However, I thank you and I really appreciate you for making a review about this PD32R flashlight.

I could make my photos look great thanks to minolta glass. I got myself a 80-200 f2.8G, a 85mm 1.4G and the 50mm 1.7 you got too. Whenever I show people my photos they ask if I use a medium format camera, and I answer "no, I use a Sony A77II". My next pick is just a whimsical impulse, i'm doubting between the 400mm f4.5 or the SSM 300mm f2.8 / 300mm HS apo 2.8 just for the aesthetics. But i'm at conflict. IMO the best looking is the 400mm (it's big and has a massive lens hood, just as I like), the ssm is a good balance between the two but it's the most expensive, and the 300mm f2.8 APO is the best of the bunch as far as AF and wide open performance goes, but it's too small to impress myself whenever i would use it. I don't shoot photos around people, mostly go alone, but I love to pull out my camera and huge lenses and stare at them like a mother admires her newly adopted baby with pride.

The only drawback to SSM is can you get the lens serviced if there is a problem? For this reason I tended to go with screw drive mostly on A Mount. There might be used parts around, but even the later Sony G lenses, evidently can't be serviced due to no parts being available. Something to think about perhaps. Also might be worth looking at a full frame body at some point, just an idea for you.

@@MrBazReviews yes, i have in mind the a7m4, I'll buy an extra shutter mechanism along with la-ea5 with it for the future. I will still shoot in APS-C with it with the 90mm/80-200 and 150-600s nonetheless since I'm mostly focused on telephoto. A7IV seems to be more than enough for 10 more years for me. If the a6700 wasn't a glorified video camera i would buy it instead, despite being aps-c. I can't help but heave when I see that 25 milisecond electronic shutter readout and the mechanical shutter being limited to 1/4000 and less. Nonetheless I don't blame Sony, because every other camera brand is doing the same. Photographers are becoming youtubers lol.

@@MrBazReviews hello, I just got an A7IV and it focuses fantastically but that's on the 85mm 1.8 E mount lens you find in every random tech store. I am waiting for the LA-EA5 but it comes from DHL Netherlands ground freight. Package has been rolling for two days straight without stopping in any warehouse inbetween NL and my destination so I guess it's not detouring to Leipzig.

@@kingghidorah8106 The adapter is quite good, you lose video AF sadly (guess Sony didn't want to make it too good!). It works well mostly, though typical for mirrorless not so well if image is way out of focus, the macro lenses I tried on it really require manual intervention, not just a Sony thing seems common on all MILC bodies. Speed is decent, perhaps the A mount native cameras have a bit more torque/drive power. If you have a bunch of A Mount lenses to use it's worth getting. A7IV is a nice enough camera, lot of cropping power there if that's important for you.

@@MrBazReviews i do love heavy lenses with a lot of torque, and yes macro lenses require manual override constantly, I had to do it in A77II, and it's going to make me extremely sad if the difference is very noticeable in af speed/torque. I just love how the 80-200 feels. When I clicked the A7M4 for the first time I was delighted when the entire camera shook with the shutter mechanism (solenoid>servo), now unless the new la-ea5 is any sort of updated variant like these shady model revamps that are released without previous warning i would probably go for it forever. But something I realized is that Sony was marketing standard silent autofocus lenses as "premium G glass" despite other cameras of their age already had silent autofocus lenses as kit (and I don't mean SAM lenses, they're not silent) I have a 16-50 2.8 (dt) SSM and that thing beeps loud near the inaudible Hz range, my parents and friends can't hear it but my dog looks at me whenever she hears the lens turning and I can hear it too.

If DSLR's didn't exist, I'd probably own a Z6. For the mirrorless world it's pretty solid. Great review though man as usual. Wish there were more "detailed" reviews like this on YT forgoing all the music and "filler".

Takes too long to make, so most don't bother with it easier to do the talking head stuff and bang it out. It's an alright camera for what it is weaker ergos v the DSLR's. D800 stays put that's for certain!

Good design lights that I would commonly use like regular warm LED, UV, laser pointer. Cons would be the built-in battery and the high price I don't know why and how companies are charging $100 for some LEDs and a battery

Been that way for a while, prices are fairly high on these products unfortunately. There are some budget brands around that are lower cost, even there I've seen the prices go up quite a bit too.
