Yeah! There's a Cable C1 cabin and you visited it! 👍 There'll be 105 of them when it opens, and enough garage space for 130. They could still add a few more past 130 if needed ; they'll just have to enlarge the garage or open a smaller second one in another station. The line is advancing well, it has even begun testing the infrastructure with a few cabins doing rounds on at least one segment. It should open in 2025. The fact that they've named the line C1, creating the "Cable" category, is quite the indication that they intend to build more of them where it makes sense. I'm eager to ride this new "télécabine". I'm a bit surprised that Alstom did not bring more trains. Are the 9-segment long tram and the Coradia Max the only ones from Alstom that were on exhibit, or were there others that weren't shown in the video? For the trams, besides the super long one, they should have brought the recent X05 being used on Paris T9 & T10, plus a narrower version on T1. They are sumptuous, inside and outside, extremely comfortable, bright and airy. Plus, the exterior lighting is fantastic with the LED bands on the faces and all along the length of the tram. It illuminates streets at night and prevents collisions with cars at intersections. A TGV M / Avelia Horizon power car with a passenger car and a bar car with demo interiors (or SNCF's) would have been great. They could have also brought a couple Metropolis front cars, like one of Paris MP14 or Lyon MPL16 for the rubber tire category, and a Grand Paris Express MR6V/MR3V for the steel wheel category. Or even the 2 front cars assembly of an ultra mass transit heavy metro like RER NG (Adessia Max), or an Xtrapolis... It seems like Stadler came in force this year. As much as I find their trains very good and comfortable, they always have rather dull or ugly designs, in my opinion. The tram they presented looks like the Fiat Multipla of trams... 🤣 I sure hope that we'll get the 9-segment trams for Paris circular trams T3a and T3b, which are bursting at the seams with overcrowding. They'll need to extend the platforms in stations, but it's really needed given that these lines carry between 500k and 700k passengers daily, which is crazy. Greetings from another rainbow rail and transit fan from Paris! 😉
