Hi, I’ve just bought the innova 5568 from amazon and my light is almost to dull to see (yes I switched the light on 🤣) am I doing something wrong or do I have dud? Thanks 👍

If you have the light on and it's dull, unfortunately, this may be an internal issue with the timing light. This would be an uncommon issue for our timing lights. Does the timing light at least flash when connected? You can try exchanging for another one from Amazon. If not, the 5568 is covered under warranty here at Innova. You can give customer service a call at [phone]. We are open M-F 6am-6pm.

@@InnovaAuto Thanks for the reply, I took some advice from ACDodd (who recommended it on KZbin) and tried it with a remote battery, with still no improvement, so I’m exchanging it with amazon 👍

I notice these Innova timing guns have an "a" after the numbers but when I find them on Oreilly's website or Amazon, there is no "a." And I can't find any info online about the difference between the 5568 vs 5568a for example. thanks for any info you might have on this matter.

The 5568 & 5568a operate the exact same way with the same exact features. The only differences are the colors and the designs are slightly different.

hello, we have one of these at work and when the idle speed is higher then 1000rpm we can not adjust the timing on the timing light any idea if this is normal?

Let me correct that statement, a waste. I forgot that I made it ! At the time I was looking for a how to, on how you operate it. This video is just a commercial, so I shouldn't have stated that. Maybe there is a good one, I couldn't find one, just bits and pieces, so I was about to quit. I finally found enough info, after piecing some more poor video info. together, and I liked it enough to buy one. I hope to be trying it out tomorrow ! The info. sent with it isn't so hot and if the user doesn't see the arrow, there will be problems. But as far as quality, so far it looks impressive and the case isn't a piece of junk either. You definitely need one in a case, makes it easy to find, it adds protection, and I like how you can store your written notes. Looks like I definitely made a good choice here. A good tool to have for a variety of reasons ! Glad I was persistent. @@InnovaAuto
