Unfortunately, the 5210 isn't a bi-directional tool. Our 7111 tablet can tune and adjust parameters for some modules like Read/Write Odometer Settings or Injector Coding for example, but not turn of the gov switch.

The USB C cable is for future, free updates on a PC or MAC. The 5210 and all of our scan tools power on through the vehicle's accessory fuses. The same accessory fuse that powers on the car's cigarette lighter is the same fuse that gives power to the OBD2 port to turn on our scan tools.

Does the check engine light stay on the dashboard when the engine is running or does come and go? If the check engine light stays on the dashboard, the 5210 should read the code any trouble codes related to it. If the check engine light is intermittent, (comes and goes), you have a "Pending" code that is still being tested. Are any of the monitors red and blinking? Yes. The 5610 supports fuel injector enable/disable for most 1996 and newer OBD2 certified Domestic and Asian vehicles. As for European vehicles, the 5610 will not support active tests for fuel injectors.

The 5610 doesn't support cam relearn, but it should support active tests such as all fuel injectors, fuel pump relay, ignition coil high and low fan speed relay, O2 1/2 heater duty-cycle, radiator cooling fan PWM duty cycle. The 5610 supports Cam Crank Relearn, but not on a 2013 Dodge Dart. Since this is OEM live data, it will depend on the year, make, model, and engine size of vehicle on how many parameter identifications it supports for your vehicle (PIDs). @ it was completely up to date. I hooked it up to the computer to make sure. Thank you. It is a 2003 Chevy 1500hd 6.0 I have a misfire and I can’t get a live data misfire count on all the cylinders. I can get them for # 3 and 4 I have had it hooked to a more expensive scanner and it has shown live data on all the cylinders. I saw this video and was hoping for the same results for my truck with this scanner, because I have to drive way into town to have the small parts store hook it to their touch screen scanner and I just figured it would be easier to buy one and have it at home instead

The 5610 will diagnose an airbag light (SRS). The 5610 supports SRS live data as well. Amazon and the TikTok shop have the best deals for the 5610, and they already have the 2024 applied. The 2024 update on the 5610 adds a calibration feature called "Occupant seat Sensor Calibration" as well. This feature supports specific year, make, and model vehicles.

The 5210 can read power steering diagnostic trouble codes on a 96 and newer OBD2 certified GMC Terrain. These codes show up under ABS which the 5210 supports. C0460, C0472, C0473, C0545 are examples of power steering DTCs which show up under ABS. You might even get codes like U0130 or U0131 related to power steering issues.

Yes, the 5610 will support registering the battery on a 2008 Mini cooper Hatchback and other European vehicles as well. It will support battery adaptation for Audis and VWs. Yes, the new SGWs require AutoAuth to allow you to use scan tools to perform advanced functions and erase codes. Z Automotive sells a double bypass that allows the scan tool to perform advanced functions and erase codes on 2018-2023 Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler vehicles. Only our 7111 tablets have authorization through AutoAuth. However, there will be an update next year for the 5610 that will change that and make it able to perform advanced functions and erase codes for 2018 and newer Fiat/Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles. Unfortunately, every vehicle manufacturer is heading in the direction of SGWs. For Example, Ford started implementing SGWs in 2021.

The 3160RS can't perform any bi-directional active tests. The 3160RS does support battery initialization/battery adaptation, SAS, EPB, and ABS bleeding depending on the year, make, & model of vehicle. You can view, graph, record, and playback OBD2 live data on the 3160RS as well as transfer it to the RS2 app on a smart phone or tablet for more graphs and a bigger screen. You can view TPMS live data on the 3160RS. You can see you tire pressure (PSI) for example in TPMS live data.

Yes, let customer service know about the graphing issue. On top of that, you can use the RS2 app to report the 5160RS graphing issue due to the last update. This information will go right to our R&D team with your 5160RS' current Firmware, Bootloader, and Database versions, so they can look into it. You can find this information in the "Menu" under "Firmware Version" in the 5160RS. In the RS2 app, tap "Settings" on the bottom right corner, then scroll all the way down to the last option "Data Capture". Tap on "Data Capture Mode" to enter. You can explain the situation with the 5160RS from the last update, then provide the current Firmware, Bootloader, and Database versions. It will ask for your "Tool ID" as well which is right there in the "Menu" under "Firmware Version" at the top. Then, send it via email right to the R&D department.

Unfortunately, the 5610 will not support calibrating the turbo actuator on a 08 Ram

There is an update being released in the beginning of next year that will add more resets and calibrations to the 5610. We sell a 7111 tablet with more advanced features and coverage. Unfortunately, both models will not set timing on a 2011 Ford Excursion V10 or reprogram gauges in the dash for any vehicles.

To view Transmission Live Data, go into the "System Status" menu, scroll down and highlight your vehicle next to OEM, and press the "LD" button for Live Data. You should get a Powertrain and Transmission option. Go into Transmission to view live data. Another way is to go into the "System Status" menu, scroll down and select "Module Selection", locate the TCM, then scroll down to highlight it and press the "LD" button to view transmission live data.

I use my IPhone 14 Pro with this Innova 5610 V2 and it works fine and I use the Repair Solutions 2 App with it also.
