The majority of my firearms collection is S&W, and for good reason. You are literally helping to keep me safe every day! From everything I have seen recently, you are a fine example of an American company, deeply steeped in history, who is still doing everything right today. It's great to be a part in the living, growing history of S&W.

Pride in S&W history and a drive to live up to it is what we all like to see. Innovation and imaginative engineering, and expressing that in product development and finally marketing the result is what S&W does better than any other company in the industry. I appreciate that the company (and this CEO) is American first and last and proud of it's heritage. Good interview.

My first S&W was in 1965, a model 19 for the police department. I also bought a .38 Chief’s Special for $48.80. Over the years, I’ve bought a lot of S&W’s, winding up my first 20-year cop career wit a Model 686. Buying others like a Model 39, 41, Shield, etc., all are great pistols. I am so proud to be an owner of these great firearms throughout my 58 year law enforcement career.

Glad on moving to Tenn! Wish yall come on down the road a piece to Alabama's largest city, Huntsville. Remington had to abandoned a brand new factory they built in Huntsville, due to the law suit. Not sure who owns it now, but probably S&W could've saved some money buying it.

Remove the 'Internal Locking System (ILS)' from *_ALL_* your revolvers. Please and thank you. That statute has ran its course. _We The People_ implore you! Lastly, may we kindly request a *CSX 2.0.* You [S&W] already know what needs to be addressed with these first iterations. Stay classy my friends.

I agree. I think that the Clinton-era agreement is no longer binding. They would sell ALOT more revolvers and I am looking for the day it happens. Love S&W.

Yes! At the very least, make it optional on all the revolvers, if they absolutely need to keep making it.

I am from Denmark and in the shooting society S&W revolvers stands for quality and precision. 9 mm pistols are fine but I Would like if S&W could bring back the model 52 not in 38 spc WC but in 38 spc. That would be a fantastic gun. Thanks for a reliable product every time

Been a S&W fan since the beginning of the 70's. Love the revolvers and still do, at least the older classic ones. Can you PLEASE stop putting hillary holes in them??? You don't do that to the semi autos so why deface and complicate the revolvers.

S&W will never get a cent from me for a revolver with that ugly lock hole in it. It breaks my heart - S&W make my favorite revolvers, but my money goes to Colt and Ruger these days because of that lock and the bloated J and K frame recontours that came with it. The lock is an unwanted storage device already made redundant the padlock included in the box - it's a hideous solution to a question that nobody asked. (And for what it's worth, I'd love to see a revival of the 39/59 semi-autos in a classic line someday. No need to update them - their appeal is their smooth lines and blued finishes.)

If you want to talk about freedom and America and the constitution and heritage, then get rid of the lock on your revolvers. That alone makes you a sellout. Figure it out.
@wyomingdrifter1152 ай бұрын
Yes, I agree. Get rid of the safety on your revolvers! It makes a beautiful iconic revolver ugly. Every time I see a revolver lock I think of anti gunners. I have had my eye on your model 19 for sometime and I won’t buy a new one because of the safety. Sorry S&W but that is the truth!
@kalashnicarolina2202 ай бұрын
Point em out. This video sparked a rant from me too.
@FCV05112 ай бұрын
@@wyomingdrifter115It's not even a safety in the traditional sense. It's a storage device. An unnecessary one at that given the gun always comes with a padlock, and should be stored in a locked safe or cabinet.
@wheelguns4wheelmen8022 ай бұрын
My main thing is that the more safeties and other switches, levers, gears, sears, springs, etc you put in something, the more failure points you now have. I’m not against safeties, even multiple like on a 1911 because redundancy can be a good thing especially for newer shooters, but there is a reason I run DA/SA guns with no manual safeties. I would note that S&W is also blatantly aware that people hate the lock, hence why the new 632 Ultimate Carry does not have one. But they insist on putting them on all other new guns (or at least most, I don’t know the entire catalogue by heart).
@CJP96942 ай бұрын
Was a bad choice. But realize DA’s and firms across America have chosen to sue S&W excessively to bankrupt them. The lock was an attempt to keep going.

One thing they need to work on is their customer service very unprofessional ,manly a man named Paul a supervisor . Waiting for their response , the short they mailed my gun to the wrong g address , after I very clearly filled out and followed the instructions they asked. Scary part they said they googled my address?.???
@kalashnicarolina2202 ай бұрын
Innovation and growth? I only got 2 mags with my polymer framed carry comp. Polymer optic mounting plates and unusable irons, once you've mounted a red dot. I'm glad I am providing your company with the cash to grow. How about providing some value? 2 extra 17 round mags, to go with the teaser spacers included with pistol, a c&h optic plate and lower 1/3 irons. Cleaning kits are for people that don't have anything better to do than clean things that don't need to be cleaned. You tear your car apart and clean it every 5k miles? Oil is all you need, right? Same with a gun. FJB serial prefix is cool but not $750 cool. You don't just get to throw shit in a box and call it performance center. 2 mags is performance center? Plastic mounting plates is performance center???? Low irons that don't work with a red dot is performance center? Gtfoh

To bad @Smtih-Wesson doesn't not support the gunsmith industry. You can not get schematics or parts diagrams for their firearms. When you reach out to S&W customer service, the only response is a scripted against company policy. Even after explaining about attending a college accredited gunsmith program, and offering to sign an NDA they will not provide Schematics, Parts diagrams, or armorers manuals. It has really turned me off to their brand #SmithWesson #SW #marksmith #doesnotsupportthe2nd #initforthemoney

@Rustebadge2 ай бұрын
Not sure what you're talking about. The lever-history is accurate as far as patent filings. He never said that S&W was the "sole" inventor of the lever-action And maybe its best if you go to another place to hate on American products. No need to ruin the fun everyone is having here.
